Good question....our back court is set aside from trying to add a young point guard into the mix.

We need a PG with quickness. We have 1 guy that can guard quick PG's
Glad to see we learned nothing from last year- lets just sign Billups, Raja Bell and Rip Hamilton, and have fun seeing how long they last until they break down...
Anyhow, don't see this happening at all. I doubt Billups likes Melo after he essentially was to blame for Billups getting traded away from Denver (he LOVED playing there), I doubt Billups likes the Knicks organisation after we amnestied him (he didn't even want to come here, then got even more p***ed when we cut him), plus I think he can get a better salary with a better team.

That is a good point. If Billups can't get to the rim, then we only have one PG who can do that.

He got paid 14 million dollars and we made him a free agent for his trouble. I doubt he is really upset. Denver started Lawson and got Andre Miller so they moved on pretty quick.
Its a business. He liked Detroit also and was moved because of his contract to Denver.
These older guys are fine in limted roles. Kidd had a great first month but he broke down soon after. Maybe his conditioning was not to a level where he could have played starter minutes?
For whats its worth, our old guys helped teh core get to 54 wins and a second seed. Im not satisfied with that either but it was an marked improvement from the year before.
