Knicks trade Chandler
Rockets trade Lin, Asik, future draft pick
Mavs trade Marion, future draft pick
Knicks get Lin, Asik, Rockets and Dallas future draft picks
Rockets get Marion
Mavs get Chandler
Would fit all teams agendas at the moment.
For the Knicks it would add talent, productive depth, upgrade at center, maintain 2015 cap flexibility.
For the Rockets it saves them a ton of money to throw at another free agent next offseason.
For the Mavs it gives them a needed center.
Felton, Lin, Prigs, Shump, Smith, Melo, Artest, Bargs, Amare, Asik. Didn't add Hardaway since he isn't proven.
It won't happen because it only benefits the Knicks.

Now that Rockets got Howard they have been looking to unload Lin and Asik's "poison pill" contracts. Dallas would love to swap Marion for Tyson.

They're not looking to unload Asik. Asik asked out. Asik has high value, probably more than Tyson right now. Lin, yes... but is it enough to get us two picks back? I don't think so.

Always having either Asik or Howard on the floor puts a lot of pressure on an opponents offense.

They would be using Asik to unload Lin which is most likely what they want. Asik will lose a little bit a value as his mins dwindle down to 20mins a game. The picks are from 2 separate teams and don't have to be in the first rd. But at the end of the day Knicks would be eating 28mil in salaries for 14/15 season between the 2 players paying heavily for it in tax. Dallas should def give up a pick since they fill a need and upgrade with a relatively short term contract.

Better for Houston to use the money saved on more needed position(s) that could compliment Howard for 30+ mins a game.
I think Dallas ends up with Dalembert for a lot less than Tyson. They also might take a chance on Oden.

yup....they didn't want to pay Tyson the first time
This is such a fan-created trade. More one-sided in the Knicks' favor than the titanic was lop-sided when it went down.
