Knicks · Flyer on Baron? (page 1)

NYY1NYK2 @ 7/19/2013 12:01 PM
Who would be open to the idea of baron davis coming back after taking a yr off to recover
martin @ 7/19/2013 12:04 PM
Not me. Too much of a devastating injury at his age, plus the back thing.

Plenty of young players to take his spot who will give you same production without the downside.

smackeddog @ 7/19/2013 12:13 PM
I wish he'd never got injured- he really helped our team the season he played despite his physical problems. I was looking forward to seeing what he could do after an offseason dedicated to getting in shape after the back injury, but his knee exploded just before our season was over. Age + that knee injury= no longer a viable nba player.
blkexec @ 7/19/2013 12:27 PM
What's funny is that he's still not the worse nba player in the league. Nothing wrong with him keeping the last seat warm. He brings a lot of bench leadership. ..with his experience.
Nalod @ 7/19/2013 12:32 PM
He is still tight with the organization.

How can we really comment on this without knowing how he feels.

Let him get in shape, let him play and if he can at the level he contributes you put him on the bench.

Clean @ 7/19/2013 1:26 PM
Did we already forget what happened 2 seasons ago? No way would I use him for our 3rd PG. We need someone who can drive to the hoop constantly. If we don't get that we will continue to live/die by the 3.
misterearl @ 7/19/2013 1:31 PM
Get that man a respectable uni numeral and go to work.

We got nothing to lose. He got nothing to lose.

Hit the open man

can't see why not, as long as he can be content as the 4th string pg behind Felton, Prig and (projected) Bobby Brown.

I'd rather have some front court depth than 4 PGs- we have no real rebounders or defensive Bigs outside of Tyson (and K-Mart if he signs) that worrys me.

yellowboy90 @ 7/19/2013 2:56 PM
well by the time he is able to work out NY's roster should be full.
SupremeCommander @ 7/19/2013 2:58 PM
I'd pass... when he got injured, both teams shook his hand like he was done. He looked like he knew he was done. If he wants to come back, he should go to a young team that needs a mentor. I thought he played great for the Knicks when he was playing but after last year I don't really want injury risks
Vmart @ 7/19/2013 8:24 PM
I'd rather have the alien that abducted him.
arkrud @ 7/19/2013 9:54 PM
I like his bird... kind of matching Woody to have 2 of them.
I think he can bring more fun to NY fans... and bring aliens to the garden.
May be they will abduct Dolan and switch his head with some donkey like in Martians invasion movie
knicks1248 @ 7/19/2013 11:47 PM
you gotta be kidding me..the only way he comes back is maybe on the bench in a suit!!
IronWillGiroud @ 7/20/2013 1:06 AM
baron davis sucks and has nothing to offer to a china league team and even less to offer the knicks
jrodmc @ 7/22/2013 10:15 AM
I thought this was about our RPG leader, Earl Barron...
