Last year the knicks averaged EXACTLY 100.0ppg. Assuming they keep that average, how many ppg do you think each knicks will have?
Here's my breakdown
Melo 25ppg
JR 14ppg
Ray 11ppg
Bargnani 10ppg
Amare 9ppg
Tyson 8ppg
Shumpert 8ppg
Artest 7ppg
Kmart 5ppg
Prigoni 3ppg
***PS...if you want to say "No Amare will come back to average 19ppg" thats fine, but that means collectively the team has to average 100pg. just make sure it adds up to 100ppg***
Bargs will be 2nd in PPG. I see him going 19ppg. He will be Robin to Melo's Batman.
ok...what about everyone else?

Dude nobody ever listens lol
I basically agree with your numbers callmened....i just think bargs will average 12/13 with elite at 22...if its going to be a 100pt cap....
The knicks will have no problem scoring thus year. The defense will be much improved too
Not really how individual averages work. The fluctuation in scoring will come from the bottom of the list, not the top.
I think what the knicks will get this year more than last is a steady 7-8 players who will play every day.
Melo 24-26
Bargs 16-18
JR 16-18
Felton 10-14
Shump 10-14
TC 8-10
Metta 6-8
Kmart 3-6
Prigi 3-6
I think that is the ranges I expect our main rotation to average.
I also expect Stat to miss 45-65 games this and hopefully retire or get cut.

You and Jimmie D both. Stat leaves $23 mil on the table to spend his life brushing up his Hebrew.
And just how would one cut a max contract player? Is there a statute of limitations on fire extinguisher abuse?
We will score more points this year than 100/game. Bargs will get 16 per game, at least
What Really Happens, With more than Isolated Numbers
Melo injures his knee in training camp. Out for 4-6 months. Wear and tear is a b#tch.
JR Smith's knee does not respond as hoped. He returns in February.
Ray Felton starts at shooting guard and averages 14 ppg and 8 assists
Andrea Bargnani busts out of the gate like a thorobred at the Kentucky Derby. 19ppg
Amare goes on the injured list
Tyson Chandler pulls down 10 rebounds a game. His 4ppg are gravy
I Man Shumpert cameos at the point and gains confidence by Janauary averaging 3 steals and 16ppg
Ron Artest gets ejected in the home opener.
Jeremy Tyler makes the roster and the rotation behind Chandler. 8ppg and 8 rebounds
Pablo Prigioni turns into a gunner. 12ppg and 6 assists
Tim Hardaway is a gunner. 8ppg and 6 rebounds
TJ Leslie gets invited to New Orleans for the slam dunk contest. He has a blast.

There's no way Amare gets cut when his contract becomes an expiring asset after this season.

Asset for what???
Nobody wants 23 million dollars in dead weight in this CBA and the knicks have no reason to accept the garbage that would possible be attracted to such a deal when in the very next off-season they can sign whomever they target.
I know he won't be cut, that would be a personal wish. I hope he retires or accepts a buyout, because spending 20-25 million in free agency beats the hell out of whatever "possible trade" the knicks would be looking at.
Letting his contract go off the books is the knicks best plan moving forward.

+1, : homer simpson voice : "hmm unless. . ."
Nah, letting him expire is as good as it gets.
Ummm? Any more takers for answering the quest? Lol. Or am i the only one who thinks of these quests? Lol

Hmmm... It really can be interesting... But too much luck required...

An asset in trades. I'm not saying that we can or should trade him but a massive expiring contract is valuable to certain teams.
