I believe Delonte West's problems are "organic". I know a few people who suffer from a Bipolar Disorder and its sad. But as long as they take their meds theyre ok. The hard part is, once theyre feeling good, they feel they dont need them. He just needs a strong support group.
Would I take a chance? It depends on the knicks support group and resources. Id assign someone to chaperone him 24/7.

I agree with what you are saying. I do find his weapons conviction a bit concerning. He had three loaded guns with him, a ruger, a 357 magnum and a shotgun. Can't imagine what his intentions were or why he thought he needed that much protection. I have heard that he has been well liked by his teammates.
