I always thought a few years ago Lamar would have been a good fit with the Knicks. Word is he had a drug problem. I was just wondering could we give him a last chance. And could he really help us.
I think I read that he is with friends in an unknown location/hotel and that they are trying to get him to go to rehab. I also heard he would like to go back to the Lakers.

Bad stories going around about Lamar. I am more concerned about his recovery than his B-ball readiness.

i can see him as a heroin addict more than any other drug, other than alcohol, could be either dope or booze.

Man I hope that is not true. Regardless of what substance it is, it's ashame. Hope he recovers if this is true.

Holy crap, didn't realize he was actually that young! Dude looked like he was in his 40s a decade ago.

It's a shame. The man had skills and I hope he goes to rehab and get himself together. Then maybe he gets back in playing shape. He just might be able to help some team.

I doubt its the same issue but, I do remember him being on tv crying after testing positive for Marijuana use. This time, I suspect its a much harder drug than herb.
Odom always came across (to me) as mentally soft or, maybe fragile would be a better and less negative word. Doubt a homecoming would do him any good.
Reporting its the reason why he got cut form the Mav's midway thru the season.
Remember all the crazy "eating candy" stories about his energy levels and what not.
Dude has had problems for a while now.
They were doing that stupid show about them moving to Dallas as well. Lamar got to get a grip and get away from theese Kardashians.
They will do a "Rehab Special" about him, all the crying and trials and tribulations about him trying to get "straight"...........NO privacy in their starphuch world.

I have wanted him to be a Knick since his days playing at Rhode Island, but I would have to say no. The worse possible thing that could happen to him would be bringing him home. The best thing for him right now might be to go to somewhere like Utah where he would be away from bad influences and could focus on just basketball.
