The east isn't drastically better, most of the players just swicth teams in the east..

Some may even take a step backwards..

LOLWHUT?!?!

CHICAGO - D ROSE, BALLING
INDIANA - So good already, Hibbert even better, the injured guy coming back gives them hella options
NETS - WHAT?!?!?! NETS AND HEAT FAVORITES FOR CHAMPIONSHIP
HEAT - WHAT?!!??!?! THEY'RE THE HEAT BRO!!
OTHER TEAMS - WILL ALL BE BALLING,

that puts us at #5 already, it's a tight line between 5 and 8

What kills me about this idea of the East getting better so the Knicks don't have a chance is that the Knicks had a bunch of health issues last year and they STILL beat everyone else to gain the #2 seed. These teams got better and so did the Knicks. No more Kidd 39, KT 40, Camby 38 and Sheed 38!!! They gave that a shot and it didn't work. Those guys couldn't help us for an entire season. Now this team has replaced those guys with younger and more capable players. Why we should just accept that these improvements won't mean anything but other teams improvements will is absurd.

they had some things go their way last season, we did,

like hurricane sandy and the season opener, gave us a nice boost and a little leg up, we made the best of the situation and i think hurricane sandy ALONE is worth 5 wins for us last season, that puts you at 49 without the storm,

gunsnewing @ 9/5/2013 10:27 PM
wade blaming the storm counts for another 6

5 wins huh? GTFOH!

The Bulls were 45 wins without Rose and 50 wins with him the year before. There's no guarantee that they will end up with a better record than the Knicks. No one has even seen Rose play a minute since the surgery and much less an entire NBA season!!!

Who knows how long it will take for the Nets to get their chemistry together. It doesn't always work right from the start. Also how will they actually hold up over a full season and playoffs? No one really knows but they are willing to give them all the credit.

We have to see the Pacers actually keep their intensity up for a full season, which they've never been able to do. Who knows what they'll get from Granger? He hasn't exactly been Lebron when healthy either. From my view too many people are giving these teams too much credit.

gunsnewing @ 9/5/2013 10:37 PM
Didn't take KG and pierce too long the last time. If i remember correctly they won their first yr together in Boston
gunsnewing @ 9/5/2013 10:38 PM
Nix have you been drinking?
knickscity @ 9/5/2013 10:40 PM
The Bulls have been the #1 seed every year under Thibbs except the one year Rose didnt play a single game, so it likely they will be better with him this year.

Folks getting silly now or on Odoms crack supply.

50 wins in the lockout year was the #1 seed.

ChuckBuck @ 9/5/2013 10:53 PM
Fair or not fair, yes, I think Woody will be on the Hot Seat.

An ECF will all but guarantee continued employment as it show improvement every year under his watch.

Another 1st or 2nd round ouster, and it's very possible that Woodson gets the hook.

dk7th @ 9/5/2013 11:03 PM
what are woodson's credentials in the first place? didn't he attend the same school as isiah thomas and grunwald? you just can't ignore that.

besides, who wants a coach who panders and plays favorites?
