I agree that Tyler is a project, also agree with those who would want to bring Barron back. As long as he isn't buried on the bench again when we need a big who can score in spurts.

Of course I wanted Tyler to get a full training camp in, but he'll still be able to absorb some coaching, and probably be back on the available roster within the 10-15 game mark of the season.I guess I'm glad this happened in September instead of November (and I'm sure Tyler's thrilled this happened in September instead of July).
I don't even see how he makes the team now. Is Jeremy Tyler honestly worth a roster spot at this point? Worth rehabbing and keeping? Jeremy Tyler?? Really??? They must really see something in this kid if they go that far. I just don't see it.
Is his deal guaranteed? I thought it was a 2-year deal.
I would rather have Fab Melo OR Whiteside.
Looks like Tylers injury was worse than has been reported:

They've removed his entire leg below the knee!
I know this kid is hurt and there are those that doubt his value, but I think he's got all kinds of talent and skill and just needs to get a chance to develop more fully. I want them to take a chance on this kid. Getting cheap talent like this kid is hard to do and this is a gift if they can help him mature and fully develop. He's got a live body and we already see he will rebound and fight inside. He has a nice jumper and even tho his moves can be a bit wild, once he learns how to harness his quick feet and agility, he's gonna be really good.
Nixluva..we finally agree
