Last Year we had a lot of things that broke right for us. Both the celtics and bulls(2 teams that we always have a tough time against were banged up). Indy was a good team but i felt we could handle them, We seemed to match up better against miami than any other team. The first 3 playoff games we seemed like a team that was gonna go far and then we went off the rails for some reason. I feel like last year was a golden oppurtunity. this year obviously teams like teh bulls nets and pacers are all much better and healthier. We have no idea what we are gonna get from Amare Bargnani and JR. Also not happy Steve Mills is now the GM. Im excited for the start of the season but i just feel like last year we missed out on a great oppurtunity

lol...last time i check..amare, felton, shump, sheed, camby kt all miss significant time..we never had a full roster if i can recall, not to mention melo and his 10 or 12 games when he was down..Thats a starting 5

It makes me laugh when I here these silly beat writers talk about teams coming back healthy, we were a mash unit and have been that way since melo got here..

Youth and durability is not exiting for Jimmy...
What NY media will be writing about? Where will be the scandal? The Drama?
How Jimmy will get into the spotlights? By playing guitar with his band of losers... No.
He is a winner in life.

Um...You realize that i wasnt bahsing the team. I was proud of the team most of the year because we HAD injuries and still won 54 games. The only thing i said is that in the playoffs i felt we should have gone farther IMO.

How, I mean we got CRUSHED on the boards through out the entire series, a healthy amare and sheed is easily 14 boards pg and when you get zero from kidd, it's an easy understanding.. I'm not saying you were bashing that roster, I just don't think your looking at the entire picture..

They build the team to beat miami and overlook the bulls and pacers...To make matters worse, do you think we address the rebound issue..The bulls also clobbered us on the boards through out the season and KG (during the 1st rnd) avg a ridiculous 15 Rbs pg against us, and 8pg against everybody else during the season

This roster we have now is a straight MDA roster..WHY?? Cause melo talked about needing a second scorer..well, we gotta keep o boy happy..Instead of heading out and searching the basketball earth for a ben wallace or rodman like player, we looked at our struggles offensively in the playoffs and decided to add more offense, when everybody with basketball sense knows..in the playoffs REBOUNDING AND DEFENSE WINS SERIES

I agree, but some couldn't handle a little prosperity. We caught the league off guard, but we didn't adjust at the end of the season and during the playoffs. Either the coach or the leader in the locker room was supposed to raise the level of intensity and focus.

That's what caused us against the Pacers.

I hate to put it on Woody, but I truly feel we could have pulled it out in that Indy series if he used Pablo/Cope more and Kidd/JR less. Not only did we give the Heat fits but we also gave the Spurs fits as well.
IronWillGiroud @ 10/4/2013 6:18 AM
Only thing we could've won last year is the cannabis cup
EnySpree @ 10/4/2013 9:36 AM
We could have won in 94 if Riley put Blackman or Tony Campbell in to give Starks a mental break...

There's the Ewing finger roll...

PJ Brown flipping Charlie Ward...

Charles Smith pump fakes...

Ewing blowing his achillies in 1999...

We all those years was our year....life goes on

This year we are clerly better 1-20...the guys we have to cut this year could have made the team last year....perspective.

Now just enjoy this year, cuz we have an even bigger shot to win it all now, fuck what any other team is doing

i agree,

he was stubborn/unable to adapt on the fly, until it was too late, and that's the folly of the frolickers
