You could see he actually wanted that play all the way. Waved off Murry coming up the court, kept it himself and made something happen. I don't think he's anywhere near NBA ready though. Dude needs a ton of work..
Diogu played very well tonight. I bet he had a double-double--at least 10 & 10. His lack of height hurts a little even though he's got good length.
CDR ain't gonna make this team. You can tell. That's ashame because he's hands down the best out of all these end-of-the-bench players battling it out for one of the final spots.
I remember reading some on this board talking about Aldrich being hurt at one point (maybe a knee?). Couldn't confirm that. Does anyone know what he hurt, if anything, and how severe it was? Trying to figure out why he's looked so lethargic out there. Definitely not the same Cole Aldrich I remember from Kansas.

Haha I used to say the same thing about Brian Scalabrine. Chris Smith really is bad though
At least Scalabrine could shoot. Smith literally has no skill.
Ive seen middle aged men in rec league with more game than smith. If he makes the roster I want an Outside the Lines investigation, ha ha.

21 & 8 in 32 mins tonight for Ike. I knew he'd put up a game like this if given the time.

I'm a bit disappointed with Cole. I just don't see a lot of extra effort. Maybe i'm being too harsh, but I kind of thought he'd come in banging and throwing his weight around. He's OK, but his offense is flat out horrid. I'd rather keep Tyler around and wait for him to heal. Some media was suggesting the Knicks couldn't wait on him, but he's way better than these other bigs IMO.

Kinda sad his play and hardaways alley was the only highlights of the game.
pretty pathetic effort from guys trying to make the team.

So far, whoever they had in mind from the start....nobody is outshining the next yet.
Actually surprised by this early on.

That was the kind of preseason game that makes you wonder why you watch preseason games...

we look like we had no plan, like woodson said, ok just go show me what you got.. although the Celts played most of there rotational guys regular season minutes, we on the other hand played our d summer league squad.Everybody trying to make the team by taking too many bad shots, no defense awareness, no rotations...Lost souls..

So has anything changed in anyone's mind after 3 games? I'm still thinking Aldrich even though he's looked like crap---for anyone who watched this dude in college, you know he's capable of more), Tyler and CDR. Those are my 3 -- with Ike Diogu my dark horse. To me Tyler and CDR should be locks and the only competition should be between Cole & Ike. I need to see Aldrich play better -- 3 subpar efforts so far on his part. If he continues to underperform, I'd have no problem cutting him and going Diogu/Tyler/CDR.
