All I know is if we commit 22 TOs against these guys, we're gonna get run out of the building.

Please don't let that gold suited man in a cape be the Knicks!

Bulls will be coming out to destroy us after their Miami disaster. Likely Rose will get Many favorable foul calls as the nba tries to market that he is 'back' on a big stage. If we play like we did last night we will be annihilated.

Come on Knicks- I hate that we couldn't beat them last year, I want this win badly!

I wonder how you explain it at the hospital? "Oh a bulls horn tore my scrotum- I like dressing up in a tight gold gold suit and cape and getting them to chase me around!"

Woodson cannot catch a break with so many already predicting his firing.

In sweeping the season series against New York last season, the Bulls raised the intensity of the rivalry, getting under the skin of Knicks players.
In a Dec. 21 game in New York, Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler and coach Mike Woodson were ejected.

“Oh hell yeah, for sure I know I’m going to play,’’ Rose said. “It’s just that I have to get loose.’’

Rose missed the preseason game in Rio three weeks ago, when the point guard’s surgically-repaired left knee came down with some soreness on the flight over. The decision was made to sit him, get him back to Chicago, and then go from there.

Since then, there have been no setbacks with the knee, including the 34-plus minutes he put in against Miami Tuesday night.

“Yeah, that’s what I would expect,’’ Rose said of coming out of that game with some general soreness. “But I don’t know what play did it or whatever. My body just has to get used to playing. My knee is good. It’s just my neck.’’

News that Thibodeau obviously didn’t want out.

The coach was first asked if everyone was healthy for tonight, and responded, “Good … we’ll see.’’

When he was then asked if Rose participated in the shootaround, well, typical Thibodeau.

“No he did not,’’ he responded.

Reporter: “Is there something wrong with his knee?’’

Thibodeau: “No, his knee is fine.’’

Reporter: “Why did he not participate?’’

Thibodeau: “Um, just nicked up a little bit.’’

Reporter: “Where?’’

Thibodeau: “His body.’’

Reporter: “Upper body or lower body?’’

Thibodeau: “His body.’’

Rose stopped the insanity by just shedding some basic truth on the subject.

“I’ve been getting treatment the last couple of days, even this morning,’’ Rose said. “It’s just getting my blood going, just being in the arena and seeing how much attention there is in the building, just checking out the atmosphere.’’

#Knicks debuting orange alternate uniform tonight. #Bulls will wear black to, you know, complete the Halloween color scheme. Thibs insisted.

Begley speculating the Knicks won't start two point guards. Not sure how I feel about it. The Bulls start Butler at the two and the Knicks might be able to take advantage of that.

How? Butler is very good defender and with Pablo or Felton on him, he'd post them up. I see it as an advantage for bulls.

X-Factor for this game and for the Knicks in general is Bargs. If he could hit just 50% of his open shots we would be elite. The way teams play us he always gets open shots. I really hope he turns it around.

You see this is where woodson should start mwp, playing slow small ball will not work

It's from the TNT promo directly above it. One of a few fictional looks into the future.

Could be Felton/Shump/Melo/Bargs/Tyson or Felton/Shump/Melo/Amare/Tyson to kick things off.

woodson should eventually settle on chandler, artest, anthony up front with pg and shumpert in the backcourt.

i say pg 'cause felton has to become a better orchestrator over the course of the season. his fast court game is fine-- until his legs go around the allstar break-- but playoffs are half court wars of attrition. he does not have the goods in the half court. always thinkin' 'bout the playoffs second round and beyond.

bargnani is not stout enough a defender. he has size but is soooooo slooooowwwww. i'd rather have artest out there and also see what shumpert can evolve into on offense, especially playmaking.

for the record i don't like tonight's lineup at all. are we supposed to see a two-man game between ca and ab?

I can't watch the game until Sunday due to being away on a training course- I know there's not a hope in hell of me resisting peaking at the score before then!

Worryingly, Bargs seems to have lead the team in having the worst or second to worse +\- in the games he's played in so far. What worries me more is I think Bonn1997 said that was the case for much of his stint with the raptors. If he's in the starting lineup, likely we'll start off poorly then maybe go on a run once he goes to the bench.

I do want Bargs to have a good impact with the Knicks so I hope this isn't true.

Not sure whats going on with Beno- looked slow and depressed first few preseason games, then looked lively and great the last few. Then seemed to revert back to depressed and slow in last nights game. Maybe I should offer him and Bargs some counseling, they both look like they've been toiling away in a Soviet gulag for 20 years when they're on the court!
