Tough to hit 2fts in crunch time and you're first time at the line.
Tyson was held by Noah on the put back attempt.

Should have used the same play bulls did. PNR Melo and Tyson then what happens next depends on how they play it.
We didn't play well for most of the game so it is what it is - but we should have won this one.
Pretty good game on a back to back. The knicks have a lot of things to clean up.
KNicks have to run a better endgame scenario then that. Give it to Melo 22 feet out and he just jab steps and pulls up? Thats the best we've got? There was nothing to that.
Feel good about the Knicks tonight despite the loss. Much more encouraging than the win last night. Back to back agaisnt a top team away and we stayed in game all night long despite some foul trouble and some pf absences

signs of a weak coach. The same problem he had 2 years ago in the playoffs vs the heat.
Blown opportunity.. chandler played his heart out. Dude instead of posing and acting tough hit the FT's...That is the toughness i want to see.. But he played hard and tough.....
Bulls don't look great to me at this point.. Bench is suspect...No shooting.. It just seems like the Rose show again on offense.. Not that impressed.. yea he made the clutch shot, but he was not great tonight, but I can understand the rust..
carmelo.. LOL.. dude trolled the knicks tonight... up 2 with 3 minutes, after making a nice shot to put the knicks up 2, he then goes into hero mode and takes a fadeaway 20 foot brick..
then comes down playing blind pearl washington and just throws the pass out of bounds..
knicks need to get away from that.. run pick and roll, run offense... Damn..
This was a winnable game....
bulls may be slightly better at this point, but i see their flaws...

5 seconds is much different. The bulls would trap with Noah. It wasn't a bad shot he had space.

Even the greatest hitters in baseball put the ball in play 30% of the time. Can't blame Melo for the lack of imagination or a play from the coach....

Yeah. Loved the fight. Loved THJ and Tyson tonight. Winning in Chicago will always be tough. Winning on their opening night in their building after a loss is extremely hard. Great game but the end result sucked.
I hope we can see a Prigs/THJ backcourt. Especially when we run. Will be interesting to see where JR fits in when he comes back.

nope.. I hate that play, but it is predictable.. the knicks had their chance up 2 and carmelo takes an even worse shot.. knicks have to run offense.

Yeah it's odd that he didnt even call a play.
We have to get to the line more during the game. don't know how many times we officially went to the line but doesn't seem like we had many and 1 plays.

They used 5 seconds to hit their shot also. It was 10 before play and 5 after. Even if they trap it then pass to open man.
Was wondering why Bargs wasn't in (defense offense switch last min of game) to open up the paint and give us another shooter out there....

Why would he need to come in? Our play was give melo the ball near the 3 and pray to god something good happens.

There wasn't even an attempt at misdirection.
