This roster needs a coach like Riley who adjust and play to the teams strength. This is not fun to watch ,it's like we play with no coaching leadership.

Woodson is a dumb in game manager. That is why the Hawks let him go. He is stuck in his ways.
WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW BUT A LITTLE , YOU CAN'T DO BUT A LITTLE...IT'S JUST AS SIMPLE AS THAT !
Lmao! Woody sucks. I am still trying to figure out why he didn't ride MWP hot hand towards the end of this game.

Not an expexted type of loss if it ocurrs. And melo is trying too hard as well.

he is right though, hero shots and ISO melo is the bane of my existance.
He's not right. He totally picks & chooses what he comments on ignoring anything of redeeming value that Carmelo does.
NO COACH ON HE FLOOR AND NO COACH ON THE BENCH. Bad combination.

ignoring what melo does well does not make his statement wrong. That shot by melo was a very bad shot. Whatever other agenda he may or may not have does not alter that fact.

While you do the exact opposite.

He was right Action but it was obvious what he was doing all thread.
Unfortunately it looks like this season is going to be much rougher than last season. Looks like we picked up where we left off in the second half/playoffs. It will take some time for the new pieces to gel and to get JR back - but it definitely feels like we have declined a little.
We have a lot of talent but need to figure out how to make it work.

I had a feeling the game would turn around but end like this. It's like the team is linked to my college football team UF. These past two days have been rough. lol. Hardaway, Shump, and Melo were momentum killers. Although THjr and Melo had some bright moments they took some very poor shots to try to close the deficit. Shump hit a few shots but was poor for most of the night. MWP probably should have closed the game. I don't think Bargs should have closed the game due to his defense though.
This team takes after it's leader--no consistent effort on defense, more bravado than substance, and frankly, just kind of dumb. This is going to be a long season.
On a good note Bargs looked really good today. I trashed him a lot in the past so I will go out of my way to give him credit today. He was the only one in the 1st half that kept this game from going from 23pts to 33pts.
why do the sunday games at msg, matinees and night games, ALWAYS have to be the knicks in the doldrums? and why does it seem like the knicks too often have "to be down in order to get up," as clyde said tonight?
where was bargnani in the second half?
i counted at least five melo spooge threes tonight.

Where was Artest late in the game? He helped spark that run.
