Knicks · The ONLY way LeBron can be greater than Mike: win a championship (or three) in New York (page 1)

IronWillGiroud @ 11/2/2013 9:53 PM
This is how awesome New York is:

it's the Mecca without having been the Mecca in decades.

what would it be with a few shiny new banners hanging in the garden?

He's already moved teams.

Why not do it again?

LeBron is the ONLY player that is beyond the reproach of the most sophisticated media in the world. LeBron is the only guy that can do no wrong in New York, and that's why he is the only man alive today that can deliver the championships that we know we should have

TeamBall @ 11/2/2013 10:03 PM
In some people's eyes, Lebron will never be close to him because of joining Wade and Bosh. I don't necessarily agree with that but it is what it is.
holfresh @ 11/2/2013 10:09 PM
Like MJ, I want to beat LeBron...It's will be sweeter if we beat him on the way to a ring..
IronWillGiroud @ 11/2/2013 10:11 PM
LeBron and Melo is the greatest tandem in league history.

Mike had Pippen, a top 50 player who could lock down Magic Johnson and others. Mike had Kukoc, a pretty good player. Mike had some damn fine players and Rodman!

Not taking a thing away form him but Run down Wade and Bosh are not "dream team" kind of players.

Mike had the magical "ThreePeat" x 2 and thats special.

Lebron is a facilitator and not the finisher Mike was. If Lebron gets his threepeat this year and bolts to Cleveland he can get to 6.

They are different players in different eras.

Does Bron bolt to Cleveland knowing Kyre may have to be the guy with the ball??..If Bron is the guy with the ball does that take away Kyre's effectiveness???..Does Bynum's knee hold up another three years??

Not everyone needs to take 35 shots agame to reach double figures, they'll get along just fine.

Yeah, has Lebron ever worsened a teammate's effectiveness?

Really Martin? Directly responding to someone's quote about effectiveness with the ball is now conisdered a dig at Melo? Is this a basketball fiorum or a Melo is god forum?

Apparently when discussing players on other teams, it is problematic if you mention a topic Melo happens to struggle with.

loweyecue, if you want to clarify your post and mention you were talking about Kyre, feel free.

For me, it does seem like every thread deteriorates into Melo discussion and I don't want that to happen, and so with just an iota I think you could have also guessed that.

Too funny.

Every rational poster here can see through what you guys are continually doing in almost every thread ...whether directly or indirectly bringing Melo in to every topic of discussion........and it really gets tiring. It has very little to do what people feel about Melo.....and more to do with the fact that the topic is like a broken record already.

No idea what that one iota comment meant. I think Melo sucks and I'll say it as often as I want to. I wasn't taking dig at Melo because if I did I would have mentioned him by name. What is he? Voldemort?

When you have a forum on the Knicks and Melo is the face of the franchise - exactly what do you expect people to talk about? You maybe happy with Melo and Woodson and what he team is doing doing, I am not. I come here talk about not being happy about it with like-minded people - if you are telling me to stop doing that, then I'll find somewhere else to post.

Ive said this before but I think us Knick fans are just looking for a reason to delude ourselves into believing we will get Lebron
