Well...Woody didn't put this team together. If it was up to him, I think he would've had more defensive minded players. Just like Dantoni would've had more offensive minded Nash type PG's or offense.

I think Woodson and Grunwald were in sync last year. I think Dolan's becoming involved, firing Grunwald and generally reminding anyone in the organization how dysfunctional he can be has Woodson a bit shook. How else do you explain Chris Smith on the team. Also, Bargs seems to be a better fit for the second unit and Woodson is fond of the 2 point guard line up. I think Woodson will be more comfortable when JR comes back.

Yeah but what do you do if Tyson misses some time?

Waive Chris Smith and sign a big for starters. But my post was in reference to Grunwald/Woodson.

Bargs had a good defensive showing with KMart as a combo. Bargs got his hands up and was moving his feet well. I like that KMart was talking to Bargs out there and giving him some instruction and from that point on Bargs had some good stops.

I hope after this game, Woodson decides to play Martin full-time and bench Amare. I think its pretty clear that Amare's career is over whereas Martin gives us good production everytime he is on the floor.

Agree. Kenyon has said he is fine. The Knicks need a defensive presence and a shorter rotation.
