Any word how long Tyson is out?
Finestrg @ 11/5/2013 10:57 PM
If Chandler's out, here's the rotation I'd like to see for Friday's rematch:

5 - Martin
4/3 - World Peace
3/4 - Melo
2 - Shumpert
1 - Felton
--------------------
5/4 - Bargnani
5/4 - Amar'e (gotta be patient with STAT, man. I know it wasn't pretty tonight but gotta stick with him and keep building him back up. I bet he has a better game Friday)
5/4 - Cole Aldrich
2/3 - THJ
1 - Prigioni
--------------------
extra guard if necessary - Udrih

At least he's honest or did he misspeak again?

Clean @ 11/5/2013 11:03 PM
I am glad Melo wants to test free agency. I hope he passes it with flying colors and go to another team. I rather start from scratch the right way. No more rebuilding on the fly crap. No more trading away our future for bums and geriatrics. I know this is all wishful thinking and it will never happen with Dolan as our owner. I just wanted to vent.

Does it matter? If you don't want the team to win you want Tyson out no?

I like that lineup.

It's probably one or 2 guys too many, but certain guys, specifically Bargs & Amar'e, get short leashes. Amar'e's just gotta play period, whether he's effective or not. It's part of the process to re-establish him as a cog on this team. At least 15 mins. He can't be a DNP -- if anything, hold him out of the contact portion of practice tomorrow. That can be his rest.. We've seen it before with STAT and need to remain patient -- the STAT we see right now, rusty & out of sorts, will not be the STAT we see in a month from now -- IF we decide to stay committed to him.. If he's ineffective, Aldrich has gotta see some of that time. We need more toughness beside Martin to combat Biyombo and Adrien inside. I think Cole can help us against this team...Hope he's keeping himself ready...As for Bargs, very simple: if he's showing a pulse offensively like he did in the Minnesota game, he plays (and I'd look to get him off early). If not, he can sit and we shuffle the frontcourt w/o him. That's gonna turn out to be the way Bargs gets used for the rest of the year.

Bottom line -- get this win Friday and let's go from there. Let's turn this around!!!

I hope Tyson is ok. If not then I'm ok with losing every game until they blow it up

I want Woodson to give Beno a chance to sink or swim and not keep him in limbo for too long. This lineup is good for Chandler being out but I want to see all our guards in action before the end of the year. Find out what we have.

Just keep it together Kmart, lol.

Losing to the Bobcats reminds me so much when D'antoni coached this team and they were struggling then during the lockout season.

I believe him, I just don't think his body is capable of starter minutes at this point. He gives just as much on defense as Tyson, but he's not going to get as many rebounds as Chandler at this point in his career.

Yes! It feels like that 18-24 period all over again. A certain ambiguity, depression, and incompetence hovering over the team.

Yea, what makes it really tough to handle is that there are almost no positives in the situation. Actually, there are no positives; I can't think of one.

Doesn't that always seem to be the way it goes though- our most important players get injured, the scrubs remain healthy. Been that way for decades!

smackeddog @ 11/6/2013 4:47 AM
The players just look flat. Considering the main players were all here last year, we seem to be lacking in team chemistry. Kidd, Sheed, Novak and Kurt were great chemistry guys. We have no comradery this year.

I'm hoping something ,magical happens when JR comes back, but that's probably not realistic!

Playing K-Mart and Amar'e every other game isn't going to work- its just disruptive to them and the team. Better to play them for 4 or 5 game stints then give them a game off.

urrrrrrgggggggghhhhhh.... not enjoying this season so far. Hate, HATE that even scrub teams shoot like 70% against us. I thought we'd get off to a slow start though- maybe if we can end the month at 50% we can build on that.
