This is woodson offense, don't you remember the hawks. Joe johnson got his nick name (ISO Joe) playing under woodson,

Vmart--why not scrap Amare until the 2nd part of the season. The first 40-50 he continues rehab so he can play 20 minutes a night and we will only have limited B-B he would mis. None of the playoffs are back to back. Scrap him the first 40-50 games let him continue rehab with the plan to bring him back later as an enhancement--someone will get hurt and well need him at the right time.

Who would you rather have for the second half/playoffs - KMart or Amare?

The reason I ask is I think you bring up a great point - we need to reserve one of these guys for later. I don't see either of them making it the entire season.

Complicating this situation is Tyson's potential injury.

This team is built on incompetence, nepotism, egocentrism, and stupidity.
I cannot imagine why any player, coach, and executive will work for this organization for any other reason that $$$.
And this does not work. You cannot buy greatness.
All the rotations/injuries/blah...blah...blah is just a silly talk.
This is a zombie organization and it will not be resurrected any time soon.
smackeddog @ 11/6/2013 10:30 AM
Maybe we could all agree to just watch recordings of last season and pretend that they are this seasons games.

JR Smith is a starter. Let him play the point. Turnovers? So what. Let him run. Bargnani needs to be more vocal. Stop deferring and play aggressive. Post him up. Dare him to drive the paint.

Melo needs a rest. Amare is done.

For a non-rebounding team like us, turnovers are one of the most important areas where we need to be excellent. If we have high turnovers we will lose almost every game, we were so successful last year because this team needs to protect the ball in order to have as many opportunities as the opponent.

At this point, Felton looks woefully ineffective and has only been a marginal guard at best during his tenure here. I think he needs to come off the bench, manning Udrih's current role.

But that would reveal how stupid is was to sign Beno and Prigs when Murray who just came from a winning D-League franchise who won a Championship. Only Injuries would bring the rook from the bench over the other 3 puant gods.

I think it would do nothing of the sort. If Murry gets time and helps this team win, no one would care how/why it is happening, just that it is happening e.g. Jeremy Lin.

Start Cole Aldrich!

Trade Melo for ... chips and dip!

See if Bill Russell will coach!

Get anyone from the D-league who grabbed more than 10 rebounds in any game!

Start Amare, play him 57 minutes every game until his knees finally blow out! Case closed!

I agree with the AnswerMan - get me JR and Shump in the backcourt; never take them out. If they foul out, give them one of the jerseys from the other four point guards on the bench.

Bargnani is to shoot every effing time he touches the ball. That includes out of bounds plays and timeouts!

BLOW IT ALL UP NOW!!!!

Throw it all against the wall and see what sticks!

Build a statue for melo and hope he stays. Why wait?

Tough Times Call for Tough Decisions

Toure Murry - certainly, rookies are risks, but this rook is 6'4 and plays with a smooth rhythm. ""He's a quiet guy, under-the-radar, [and] willing to learn each day. He comes in the gym, he works. His future is bright. I'm a big fan of Toure'." - Carmelo Anthony

JR Smith - would fit with Murry and add firepower.

Andrea Bargnani - yes, another rookie. Bargnani is still searching for his voice. Pull down 5 rebounds or Artest takes over.

Carmelo Anthony - we broke it, we own it.

Jeremy Tyler - did you say yoots? Cole Aldrich is the understudy. Give that man some burn.

Sixth Man - Tim Hardaway Jr. Why not? It's just edgy enough to cause the entire team to play different and different is good because they way they playin' now ain't gettin' it. "throw it down Junior, throw it DOWN!"

First ballhandler off the pine - Pablo Prigioni

First big off the pine - Ron World Peace

That's eight

Everyone else can take a nap

This doesn't make any sense, why should anybody over react after the first week of games???
misterearl @ 11/6/2013 2:56 PM
Sign Ike Diogu, who proved he could rebound in pre season. We desperately need rebounds.

Send Amare to the D-League until he gets his act together.

Probably because I'm stressed anyways this week, and the Knicks are offering me no respite from that!

misterearl @ 11/6/2013 4:32 PM
Bad karma sucks.

Dolan/Steve Mills/ Mike Woodson offended the basketball gods by keeping Chris Smith on the roster over Ike Diogu and Jeremy Tyler.

This can only be corrected by releasing Chris Smith immediately.

I agree but these guys at the end of the bench isn't our problem...Bargs is in a coma..Dude plays with zero passion, pride and energy...I thought initially it was fitness...He is sleep walking out there...

Congrats? Predicting Felton's going to get lit up by an opposing PG is like predicting the Sun will rise in the morning.

Because if the trend continues, we risk degrading our players' trade value and we lose the ability to make changes.
