we haven't been playing 400 ball with him in the line up.
And any reference to record last year- its history. This year is a different beast.
Jason Kidd must have made a huge difference to the chemistry.
Man that sucks. Chandler is going to have to get back in game shape as well. We also have to find a place for JR in the rotation and see how he does. Its going to be a rough end to the year.
I agree that this might have implications with our seeding, you never know. I'd trade a higher seed in exchange for having a lot less players out hurt when the playoffs come around. Hope Woodson learned from all the minutes he gave Kidd early on last year to fill a void. Can't rely too much on some of the older players who have been breaking down.
That twist of ankle looked really horrible. I sure hope he recovers soon. The whole team plays like it's summer camp without him.

Please, you know damn well we're panic trading Shumpert for Rudy Gay.

That's a good trade but salaries don't match.

Have you got any other players you could trade to us that are as good as Bargs?
We might survive it if Kmart survives it
Oh great... looks like last year's injury bug is back with a vengeance. This is the main reason why this team has no shot. Even if we get good players, playing well together, nobody can stay healthy. Just ugh.
This is so depressing. Chandler looked like a beast again.
We wont miss Chandler THAT much trust me, he was a liability on offense unless it's PnR. PnR is not that difficult to run for an NBA Center / Forward. It's more on the PG. On offense, I expect more shots from the perimeter obviously. Chandler was available for the 1st quarter, which is when the lowly Bobcats put up 30 plus points. So let's be clear that he's not that great on man-on-man defense. He's great on help defense and KMart is decent there too.
I personally expect us to run the offense more freely now with a superfast lineup.
I mean I was Woody... that's what I'd do. But who knows how blockheaded our coach is.
Game 1, we looked good
Game 2, we were getting beat and we still almost came back
Game 3, we were playing a 3-0 team and we started playing too late
Game 4, steep drop from Games 1 through 3 against a team missing their best player in al jefferson.
It's not like we are really stopping people... look at opposing field goal percentages and scores. So we might as well try to become like D'Antoni's Suns. Let's see if Woody can adjust, otherwise he's gone after another 5 games.

COLESANITY TIME!!!!

Love it.
Play Toure Murry. It's early enough to see who can play a new style of Knicks basketball.
4-6 weeks is fiction.
The knicks never tell the truth.

Tearing up the Ukraine. Probably by pulling a plow.

And I will never understand why- what is the point in saying a player has a sore foot and will be out a week when you know it's broken and they may never return? What do they think is going to happen once the week is up- we're going to forget about the missing player?!? I just don't get the mentality.
Woodson just said on ESPN radio he's going back to the 2 PG lineup with Bargs at C. I feel a little better. I think we can survive. Too bad Kenyon is on minutes restriction though. Would like to see the same starting 5 as last spring when Tyson went down.

Liability on offense? You're talking about the game's most efficient scorer and best offensive rebounder.

I'm wondering if the staff there all the way around avoids ugly truths because of Dolan. A tyrant doesn't like bad news. See what happened to the security guard when she tried to do her job

Knicks were 11-1 without him last year with the Felton/Prigs back court and KMart starting. They can survive this. But Woodson needs to wake the fuck up.
We shall see.
Tyson was struggling then and K-Mart played some of the best ball of his life.
No kmart played like a normal former #1 pick in his late 30's. We as knick fans were deprived for years of bad defense and he just showed us it doesn't take much to impact a game if you give effort and energy.

if they have that lineup, then they have to run and melo will have to rebound more. more wear and tear on him. the next month will be rough.

I agree. Melo can't play as many minutes as he has been.

most efficient coz he stays in the lane ONLY. he doesn't help move the ball at all.
