We needed a win badly and Bargs stepped up and played well. He filled a need for this team and stopped the bleeding for one night. Hopefully he can continue to help this team win games. It's just nice to be happy about a player doing well for OUR TEAM. I can't get with all the F'n bunch of Negative Nancy's among Knick fans. A player has a good night for our team and cuz he missed a few wide open shots we've got to throw salt in his game over that? That's some BULL. Bargs went 11 of 25, If Bargs hits 2 more of his jumpers that rimmed out, he's at +50%. WTF is wrong with you?

I'm looking forward to Bargs being in better shape so that he has the legs to shoot a better % while still giving effort on the other end. We have to remember that he came in behind the rest of the team in terms of his fitness level.

I do believe pretty much everyone gave him credit, even I did.

But unlike you his scoring didnt mean squat to me, those rebounds and blocks did, and the way he was active on defense.

Now we can put this "he cant do this, we didnt get him for that" nonsense to rest, he can, when he puts effort into it.

The bar is set.

I remember reading that Bargs can be a pretty good man to man defender, it's his team defense that is awful. That seems to be the case so far- I like how he's defended his man at times, and then I've gotten annoyed at his poor rotations.

16 points and 1 rebound playing center,

Proof positive that it's a lot easier to drop buckets against bums in Charlotte

IronWillGiroud @ 11/12/2013 7:40 AM
Lol this guy and this entire team is a joke:

i have to comment here b/c anything bargnani right now is too funny.

let's break it down...artest gets beat but kind of steers the guy into the help.

now jr smith steps up but b/c he has no idea what to do defensively, he doesn't commit to a charge nor try to block the shot. he actually steps back and makes a pansy swipe at the ball. start him immediately.

then you have bargs guarding a phantom menace and doing god knows what. not only does he have no recognition or clue as to what the guy with the ball is doing, he leaves manu open for a wide open 3 baseline. worth the 1st round pick.

and finally comes melo. the man sees a guy driving at him and instead of making any type of defensive play, he simply mc hammers out of the way. kobemax now.

look at woodson watching this unfold...priceless...

fishmike @ 11/12/2013 3:53 PM
lets focus on the good.

1) Bargs clearly leaves his feet there, so despite rumors from preseason he CAN jump

2) Marv makes great shrimp cocktail

3) Enyspree is in the best shape of his life. Its really inspirational. Dude's jacked.

4) Tomverve doesnt post here anymore

you would think MDA is coaching here. Oh wait...

he's one of those guys that just needs to be knocked the fuck out and some sense slapped into him

there is no excuse for grabbing 1 rebound while: playing center position and being 7 freakin' feet tall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7 feet!!!

i'm telling you this guy is out of the nba when his current deal runs out, that's what he's asking for

Bonn1997 @ 11/14/2013 7:12 AM
At least he's consistent!
Red1976 @ 11/14/2013 7:25 AM
actually he had a good game yesterda, so that makes 2 out of 3 ... this is inconsistent but with room to improve

If that TC could be on the court for for 28 minutes and last nights Bargs could be on the court for 20 minutes, this team would be extremely difficult to beat.

Yeah but could of said that about JR Smith last year for a stretch of games. This is Chandler, he gets hurt and when the chips are down in NY he has the flu

he's still on Marv's couch in dismay wondering why how how how the Knicks now have his Italian hero. We should really go get him one day, at least to get him a change of clothes or something...
