The players aren't motivated to play at home, even if a great team like the Spurs are coming to town.
Woodson is not the Boss of this roster and the players know it.
James Dolan is.
So until we get a COACH AND GM ON THE SAME PAGE THERE WILL BE NO PROGRESS WITH THIS ROSTER OR TEAM.
Fans need to boycott, the team is sabotaged from the top down.
Nobody plays consistently for a lame duck coach but rookies and bench fodder.
It's clear the Owner wants JR to play a lot, as a coach if you want your job you have to go with the owner wishes.
Mike Woodson knows his days are numbered , he sounds like Larry Brown "we just got to get better"

the difference is that this team is much more talented than the Larry Brown's one ... so they better wake up. Most of the players from the 54 wins team are still on this year team ... i know 54 wins is not a reference but this is better than what we see this year ... night and day

But they are limited to what they can do, this coach needs players to coach for him on the court or there is no creativity whatsoever. This is why he will take a gamble with only veteran players.
You might be right about lame duck. I believe fans would be more forgiving if they were busting their butts out there but they aren't. Woodson's safe for now. Its early, and he has no real successor on the bench, as far as I can see.
Mills being hired sent a message about who the real GM in NY is. Some wanna be Jerry Jones. How is that working out in Dallas? Players see this and they see a rudderless franchise led by an emotionally rudderless owner.
This is the first Knicks game that I watched this year. I moved to Russia and the time here is +9 hours, so I can only watch Sunday noon games now

Some more things learned:
-Aldrich is our best center while Chandler is hurt. Rebounds, good hands and the quickest outlet passer on the team
-Murry can get to the hoop better than, hmm, probably anyone else on the team
-We, somehow, are runing less plays than last year
There are way too many distractions on this team...We have to get Bargs going, limit Amare and KMart...Get JR going..Chandler going down really hurt because we could return to last years line up as a last resort...Then work Bargs in as the season goes on...So many guys trying to get some run...I'm still not ready to panic yet...I think Woodson just needs to simplify things...Bury a few guys on the bench until we show signs of a group that is cohesive and is playing hard...Cut Bargs minutes and bury Amare for a few weeks...1 reb from Bargs in 26 mins won't cut it...
I think its hard to start games with low energy/slow guys...We are overrating Shump too...He isn't ready to step up yet...I still like the idea of Melo laying back and letting the game come to him and others...Woodson have to start looking at guys who bring energy to the game...Most of our problems are effort..

If Woodson had job security he wouldn't even be playing some guys who make more money than K.Mart
His lack of job security has increased his rotation to keep vocal veterans happy they played in games. There are a lot of volatile personalities on this roster and Woodson's lack of job security can't stand up against them.

woodson has the players to make this work, but he's clueless..
If your not going to play amare 20 miuntes, sit him the fck dwn, his best strengths is his offense and you can't get in to no rhythm playing 5 minute spurts, its ridiculous
Start MWP he is the only one that takes to the hole and plays real defense
Sit THJ, this dude is mega inconsistent and play murry
After training camp, pre-season and the start of the season, Woodson still has no clue about a productive lineup, about who should play where and above all, about how to make this team play defense. This is a mess worse than most here imagine and we are slowly heading back to a losing season, a coach fired, more stupid trades and being the laughingstock of the league. Ive seen so many of those and am tired. There is no happiness in being a fan of this pathetic franchise. The '90s are soooo gone its sad...

I gotta tell you, I have never met even a non-Knicks fan that enjoys seeing our team lose and players play bad more than you lol.
This teams need more local NYC talent on the roster who care how they play in front of the home fans/family.....see World Peace
Guys from wang tang state, who hail from 'Chicken Tail Iowa" aren't built to play here for the home team at the WORLDS MOST FAMOUS ARENA.
There are other poorly performing teams this year. However, most of those teams have some sort of plan of getting better. That's what makes us different. What is our plan? One great draft can have a tremendous impact on a team -- we are desperately in need of draft picks. Let me say that again -- we are desperately in need of draft picks.
I learned that the team sucks and Woodson can now be dismissed. Switch defense is a disaster. I realize that Melo is a good player but needs real help currently the team is if full of bandaid players filling roster spots. I tried to tell you guys that there just wasn't anything positive about the Knicks going into the season. Asides from Melo there is really nothing here that one would consider a building block.
Honestly, you could bring Jesus from the Mountain here and he wouldn't be able to coach these guys for two shits worth a giggle,
It's like assembling a team of sandbags, the sandbags cannot listen to you, they will just sulk like sandbags do,
I learned that the Alba thread is the only worthwhile one around here this season.
Somebody is sabotaging this team on purpose, nobody is this incompetent.
WAKE UP PEOPLE ! Even the Atlanta Hawks went out and got a starting PG in Teagues ,after years of multiple swing men with no true pg

Papabear Says
He is not a knicks fan. TKF said he was leaving the Knicks as a fan. I can't wait! Hope he does it today.
