We need to get back to Carmelo starting the game as our PF with BARGS off the floor. Bargs can play with unit 2. We need more intensity more chemistry guys need to know their roles--this is a better line up. Woodson fckd up by playing Bargani with unit 1 and not having the latitude to see it was off. Cole with give me 15 rebounds or more in 38 minutes---Carmelo can play his game with Artest Shumpert for intensity on D. Second unit more balance.
Bargs is not the problem. The Spurs were hitting tons of jumpers and were up over 70% in the 1st qtr. There were no rebounds to be had. Besides he had to stay close to Duncan and in fact he did a good job on Duncan. It was the REST of the Knicks roster that hasn't been doing it's job. If you keep harping on Bargs you're missing the fact that it's the other players sucking on D and missing shots. Putting in Cole doesn't fix the bad D on the perimeter and putrid offense overall.

I agree. I do think that Cole should be getting minutes at least over Amare. I think Woodson really needs to settle on a rotation so guys can get in a rhythm. Cole and Kenyon should be in the rotation. I don't see Amare as an option at all anymore. It would be nice also if Murry could get in the top 8.

I dont think Cole can give that many minutes or that production, but it was surprising to see him get so many boards in such few minutes even if it was garbage time, but then again the whole game was garbage time.
He definitely should be used in the rotation, and i would let him start a game and see what he has.
Cant be worse than Bargs getting 1 board.
What bigs dominated the Knicks because of Bargs? Even Duncan today went 1-4 11pts. It's not like Bargs is getting lit up every night. Meanwhile the Spurs shot 53.9% and 42.9% from 3pt range. They weren't leaving a lot of rebounds to be gotten until garbage time. The Knicks problems are at the other positions. If you still shoot this poorly and defend this poorly on the perimeter no rebounder is gonna save you.
