i think lance is a good player but i think he fits the pacers MO much better than he would here. the pacers are a tough, gritty bunch and lance is as well.. not sure how he'd play here with this group. i think shump has more upside, but so far, lance is the better player.
Is this a serious question? Lance by a landslide at this point.... Lance is playing all star level ball... shupert is not close... a breakout season by shumpert may put him close to lance, and that will be fine by me, as I think lance is playing some crazy ball...I like shump but right now, not even close..
callmened wrote:Good debate question: whos better? Shumpert vs lance stephenson? Who has improved the most?
How about who's playing better now, we won't know who's better until after the all-star break.

He's a big boy though and does everything Shumpert can, while also running the point. The scary thing is that Stephenson has room to get better while I think Shumpert has peaked.
It looks as if Shumpert has peaked because as a Knick player he isn't allowed to do what he does best(RUN).
On the other hand Lance is allowed to expand his game without nobody breathing down his neck (JR SMITH- HARDAWAY JR)
Right now I would say lance but that is not a fair opinion yet. One plays on a team that has a good coach, plays team ball and have no ego's and the other plays on the Knicks.

That's not true, paul george, the darling of the nba, is an egotistical douchebag. His comments directed at lebron, melo, and drose all validate this.

Comments said means nothing to me. He plays team basketball and if he is not the best play that giving night it won't bother him. He can have all the ego he wants off the court as long as it does not make its way onto the court. If he is off one night he will pass it to the hot player. If melo is of on night he will shoot bricks until the game is over.
I can't name one selfish player on the Pacers.
They are about the same. On guy started the season hot and the other guy is a little off, but it'll even out by the ends of the season. Even in the playoffs, when Shump was still getting his leagues back, I though they were about the same at this point.

Yea we saw this in preseason when he was on the court with THJ. Regular season starts and the game slows down. It's Melo time

If Lance was on the knicks , he would be playing like Metta World Peace has been for the knicks.
Trying to represent from the heart.

What comments are those? You have a link?
If you can play you should shine in any system..... with that said woodson has Shump playing small fwd when the kid is a natural shooting guard and you had him playing point in summer league.
Sorry Shump needs to go. Tim Hardaway has a higher ceiling than Shump. It can be argued that Toure Murry has a higher ceiling too.
Trade high.... hopefully someone says the Knicks suck and ate using Shump wrong and gives us some good value to help us now and going forward

It's very simple, if you gonna can Woody you keep Shumpert.
If you are gonna keep Woody , you move Shumpert.
Agreed Playa
Woodson will be gone Thursday morning
