Bargs often looks like he thought that it was someone else's assignment. Looks like he is still trying to figure things out but he is putting in the effort, for the most part. The entire team has been flat at times, not just Bargs.
Bargs just isn't a rim protector. When you think like that all the time you react differently. Bargs has never been that guy. He's 7' tall but thinks like a SF. IMO the coaches and team have to keep reminding him that he's the biggest guy and needs to step in and give help. It's a constant process to change his thinking. He may never get all the way there, but he can get better with help.

He's also old and not really that good of a shooter. But that's what you get for $4M a year.
No one really talks about it too much but in classic Knicks fashion we overpaid for Felton. Coming off a horrible stretch in Denver and then Portland no one was rushing to sign him.
Of course we give him 3 years with a PLAYER option for a fourth. I'm pretty sure we had all the leverage and could have gotten him to sign for less years and money and a team option. sigh.
