So... well... ESPN's computer that predicted a 37-win season for us... well... might end up being right after all.

We said we only improved from a team that won 54 games.

It made sense...

SCHOENE, gimme the lottery numbers so I can buy the Knicks from Dolan, please...

Don't hail Schone yet. We're on pace for a 27 win season at the moment. And that's after playing Bobcats and Hawks twice--not exactly the toughest season opening.

SCHOENE hates the Knicks!
Bonn1997 @ 11/17/2013 8:47 AM
And Berri's much-maligned wins produced system had us at 35 wins

Weep! Not only are we crap, but the stats are being proved right- argh! A double loss for smackeddog!

I'm impressed that they predicted Tyson's broken leg though!

The team would be better with Tyson - probably around .500. I think if Tyson had stayed healthy, the metrics would have slightly under-predicted the Knicks' performance. But they wouldn't have been off by as much as most fans here were.
It's interesting that the Knicks (and Nuggets) have played roughly .600 ball when Melo is injured but it looks like this year we can't withstand an injury to Tyson.

Tyson is the last winner left on the team and Beno. Leadership is sorely missing on this squad. Kidd and Wallace are missed that is for sure.

In retrospect, it's not THAT impressive of a prediction.

You know they want to make a trade with the Knicks to make the Knicks worse.

Ha ha! I must admit, that pictured flashed into my mind when Tyson first broke his leg!
