And they signed Shaq. When was the last time the Knicks signed someone like that? Earl the Pearl? It's quite sad that we are in the worlds biggest market and can't even sign all time greats. Not even when the salary cap didn't exist

Shaq could go anywhere he wanted. Where did he go? Where the winners were. He's no dummie. He wasn't as devoted to basketball as he was to himself and the show. He wasn't trying to pull any squad out of the doldrums.

That's my point only one star allowed when they draft a superstar, this is why other youngsters will never be drafted high and stay.

Remember Strickland and Mark Jackson, they were both youngsters and were shipped off.

Both played many years in the league. The knicks can only have 1 bonifide young star at a time , too many youngsters at one time, they might just screw up and get caught up in the fast life.
