Details? Do you mean inevitable or imminent?

CrushAlot @ 11/20/2013 5:44 PM
Sounds like Grunwald may have been fired because he wouldn't trade Shump/Amare for Wallace/Humpdog.
BRIGGS @ 11/20/2013 5:48 PM
Philly 6ers just waived two players maybe hes going there? Love to get Turner but I dont think we have the $$$assets for that because we gave up the picks for bargs.

Can't be. Knicks get ABSOLUTely hosed in that deal come 2016. Maybe to philly for Turner if philly doesn't want to pay him

It'd be a wet dream to flip Shumpert for Turner. I've always thought of him as a potential all star caliber player, if developed. Best of all, Turner could run a little bit of point for us ala James Harden and Brandon Roy. It'd be interesting to see how things develop if all of this is true.

Nah. Grunwald was fired for not digging giving Chris Smith a valuable roster spot that could have been used for a rebounder.

Check the team rebounding stats.

Shame...the problem isn't the players, its the Coach.
NardDogNation @ 11/20/2013 6:00 PM
I also wouldn't mind getting back Derrick Williams if Evan Turner isn't feasible. I think Williams still has that same all-star potential that Turner has and fits seemlessly next to Melo and what we do as a team. I hope we could figure out a way to also include Gorgui Dieng in the deal because I see him having a Serge Ibaka like rise despite the Wolves never using him.

Yeah, Shumpert for Turner is a coup.

The coach has a better track record than most of the players.

I made a mistake. The guy that wrote the Knickerblogger article said he thinks that might be what happened based on a tweet from Zwerling.

Horrible trade indeed. In a vacuum it could improve our team right now, it would improve our current D and rebounding adding these two. But this is a classical shytty Knicks trade. Talk about ridiculously over-paid average players.

But they fix our current problems so what can you do? Shump's role is covered by JR, and Hardaway...Throw Murry in there too with Beno.

Our front court is weak...

Hump could start right now next to Melo...They could start Wallace next to Melo too. It gives us better options. 2 energy guys to a team that has no energy? We could banish amare and roll with Hump, Wallace, Artest and Melo up front with Bargs and Chandler....that's damn good.

Besides Hump's salary comes off the books after this year and Wallace is a nice role player. Knicks could still get Mel a sidekick in 2015 if this goes down....works for us

EnySpree @ 11/20/2013 7:21 PM
I just want to say Evan Turner is an all-star so far in this young season. Philly is 5-7 but they lead the Atlantic right now....
He's averaging 22pts 6 rebs and 3 assists...

Shump tore his ACL...He's currently averaging 8pts 4 rebs and 2 assists...

If you keep saying this trade is possible I'm going to twist your nipples at the next get together

Have to agree with this. Shump is averaging 8 and 4 as a starter at 30 minutes a game. Those numbers are brewer numbers. Not sure what is up but the Knicks need a lot more from their starting 2 guard or small forward.
CashMoney @ 11/20/2013 11:22 PM
Shump is a keeper. He's coming off of major surgery and his first training camp. He is a defensive monster and you can tell he's been working on his jumper. However, Dolan is our owner and he'll trade Shump for a bag of chips and a soda. If Shump gets traded I'm done with the Knicks.
