Knicks · we should have signed Bobby Brown (page 1)

He's what we need right now. He can get to the rim and shoot the lights out.... instead we wait for Beno and keep Chris Smith.

I believe Bobby Brown would have been our Linsanity right now. Dude is trouble to guard. We would have had what we're missing.

After the China season I wonder if he would come here to play?

Don't be cruel.

He's having a blast in China. Alot of nba talent over there. We should have kept him.
EnySpree @ 11/26/2013 1:34 PM
I follow him and Alot of other guys in China. They are doing numbers out there

Thats your prerogative!

He wasn't old and slow enough- how are opposing guards supposed to score if we had someone that could actually stay in front of them?
Finestrg @ 11/26/2013 1:48 PM
I actually think Jeremy Pargo is a better player. Numbers may not prove it -- Brown continues to rip it up in China while Pargo's currently putting up modest numbers in Russia in about half the amount of PT -- still, I'd rather have Pargo. Eye test, baby.. More athletic, even quicker off the bounce...A few years younger too. JP's one of the best possible PG upgrades we could make right now given our circumstances (namely being over the cap and the few younger players we do have on this roster have such poor trade value at the moment--what could we possibly get for any of these guys? Shumpert? Absolutely nothing. Dude has completely regressed--almost like he forgot how to play ball. THJ? Please. Not getting anything for him either). Pargo would instantly add more speed and penetration to our attack. This is the guy I want. Go get him!!! Find a way to add Jeremy Pargo AND Seth Curry. I believe both of these low-risk/high reward moves TOGETHER would be a real boost to our backcourt and give us better options.

Beno has been pretty disappointing. Last years team rarely turned the ball over. I worry every time Beno crosses half court. In hindsight Bobby Brown sounds like the better choice.

James Singleton is averaging 22 and 12 in China. I believe he is playing for KMarts old team.

Chris smith can avg that in china..gimme a break.. how many chinese players in the NBA,

GustavBahler @ 11/26/2013 8:49 PM
Its Mills prerogative. He does what he wants to do.

I disagree. I watched Chris play for Erie the other night. Not sure that he is capable of making a living playing basketball.

Kevin Jones is a similar player down in the DL that we could pick up whenever we want. Former standout WV Mountaineer. Has always been a standout rebounder, hustle player. Underrated inside/outside offensive game too. If a couple of weeks go by and Amar'e doesn't turn the corner AND we finally get sick of K-mart's low production, this is one big man we should look into signing. I say make the move now -- why wait for someone else to call him up??
