Bonn - which one of our reserve point guards is checking Tyreke Evans?
Yeah but that question is relevant every night

Exactly bonn1997. Which is all the more reason you never, ever waste a roster spot on a certified scrub.
I miss Ronnie Brewer

you didn't even read what I said did you?
They have great players that would look great under any coach. You're drastically over-weighing the impact of coaches. Most stat analyses indicate that there almost never is an impact of the coach. I think any nba coach could get that group to win 1 or 2 rings a decade.
Pop is not only a coach; he is GM and basically... he and Duncan are Spurs.
To be great in anything you need vision, plan, and execution.
Dolan is just a gambler with unlimited bankroll, the permanent sucker at the table.
Spurs are the standard of excellence but i waa talking abt the pels since thats what the thread was abt
I think we can take the Pelicans for all their feathers!

Jrue Holiday - Raymond Felton, advantage Scripps National spelling bee
Eric Gordon/ I Man Shumoert - making decisions ismtough, go with the ball handler, Gordon is the more complete package
Al Farouq Aminu/ Metta World Peace, advantage three part harmony, go with yoot
Anthony Davis/ Carmelo Anthony - push 7 for shot attempts.... push 2 for unibrow
Jason Smith (who?)/ Andrea Bargnani, this will be fun to watch
Bench
6'6 Tyreke Evans / 6'3 Pablo Prigioni, long live the BBC
Tim Hardaway Jr/ Anthony Morrow, advantage Georgia Tech old gold over Michigan bright gold
Ryan Anderson/ Amare Stoudemire, next!
Austin Rivers/ Chris Smith, you never waste roster spots and yes, the Pelicans have 4 point guards who know what time it is. Brian Roberts got next.
There you have it

Ronnie brewer would only be an additional scrub to this pos team. It needs to be dismantled and rebuilt.
I Miss Monty Williams
BRIGGS - at least Ronnie Brewer played defense. Never trivialize his early contribution to getting last season started on the good foot.
Meanwhile, back in the jungle...
"... Check out the Knicks next opponent, The New Orleans Pelicans. People immediately talk about the Draft because they have former #1 pick Anthony Davis in the squad. They ignore the fact that every other player on the team was picked up via trade or free agent signing. The foundation sits directly on Anthony Davis Shoulders, but the first piece to the puzzle was acquiring Eric Gordon from the clippers. They eventually acquired Ryan Anderson from Orlando as well.
This off season they traded their #1 pick for Jrue Holiday and also signed Tyreke Evans via free agency. Put that all together and all of a sudden you have a playoff caliber team within just a few seasons. Mix in several grunt style role players and a brilliant hard nosed young coach in Monty Williams and you are staring longevity in the face."

Does Diehard Knicks have a board to post on? Is it as depressing over there?
