definitely last night - and I think Shump has been coming around as well.
They might get this turned around - but the play offs are just about a pipe dream at this point...
IMO Woodson should've insisted that his PG's drill running the PnP with Bargs until they mastered it. At least they'd have a base to build off of. They also needed to get Melo in more PnR plays as was brought out this summer it's the highest % play that Melo runs but they almost NEVER run PnR with Melo. Melo and Bargs actually work well just don't see it featured.
They could also run more cutters after getting the ball to either Bargs or Melo and this would help Shump, JR and THJ to get some easy lay ups at the basket. There so many other options beside ISO of 3's.

I don't even think he needs to go that far. I just think he needs to call the PnR more often. You can bounce or lob the pass the Bargs and he seems to handle the ball fine. Coach needs to tell Ray, Prig and Beno to do it until the other team stops it.
CrushAlot: totally agree with you, good post on THJ and Bargs. One thing i dont' get is how less involved bargs seems to be as good goes on - haven't checked the #s on this, but seems, he's active in 1H, and, ball/minute don't come his way in 2nd.
Bargs D isn't great, obviously, but, no worse than Felton, or, 90% of the time, CA.
I'd rank this as maybe the 7th or 8th most pressing thing for him, after rebounding, passing, help defense, and probably 4 or 5 other things.

Bargs has been rebounding pretty well as of late and he has 10 blocked shots in his last 3 games. Positioning himself better to take better shots will also help him grab a few extra offensive rebounds. Except for a few bad shots---bargs has no blame in recent losses.
I want Bargs to keep driving to the rim, he's good at taking his defender off the dribble for a big man, and gets to the line regularly when he does. 3 pt shooting as well, but still has to get better. If he just played his midrange game the offense would be even more predictable. Just want to see him get touches in the 4th. That's been a problem all season. Hard to have an impact in the closing minutes of the game if your teammates won't pass you the ball.
