Shumpert was less than 3 ft away from him, played like he didn't see him and promptly walked away without helping him up. Am I reading too much into this or could there be a rift between both guys?

My eyes were away from the screen when it happened but that's interesting. Might resent outplaying him and still getting benched. Better stop getting caught on switches or its going to happen again. Other than that I like the energy he is bringing.

Yeah, I like Shump's edge tonight. I wonder what it's taken him so long to find it! Then again, it has to be frustrating to be losing time (and consequently money on his next contract) to JR. As much as we're up tonight, Smith's lack of intangibles is disconcerting. He really is a dumb basketball player, which is why I hope we finally move him back to the bench and find some guy worthy of being Melo's sidekick on offense.

Definitely believe it was the trade rumors. Looks like Shump reached a point where he said F it, and started playing with some fire again.

he finally realized that he wants to leave after all

Dagger @ 12/5/2013 8:45 PM
Shump looks like a different player
ToddTT @ 12/5/2013 8:45 PM
Nice movement.
CrushAlot @ 12/5/2013 8:45 PM
Shump. Believe it!!!!
GustavBahler @ 12/5/2013 8:45 PM
Shump for 3! They are looking to get him involved lately.
Clean @ 12/5/2013 8:45 PM
Please Melo look at what Bargs just did! He was open but Shump had a better shot.

Or he decided he wasn't going to let it get to him.

anyone notice how he's dropped the tough guy act now that he doesn't have any other goons on the floor with him?

Back to your point, #FreeRajonRondo, #Rondo2NYK

Rondo would be very nice

We need a good PG so bad, I'd be willing to risk his baggage at this point.

Ditto. Hopefully someone like that would convince Melo to stick around AND take less money than the max to do so.

Omg Knicks look good when their SG makes shots.

Who could have known.

This is what I was talking about before the season. Bargs isn't as bad as people thought. He has his strengths and should be able to play well next to Tyson. That early season stuff was just rust, lack of conditioning and working his way back. Now we see what he can do.
ToddTT @ 12/5/2013 8:47 PM
Melo with respectable assists tonight.
playa2 @ 12/5/2013 8:48 PM
The only reason why the knicks don't play like this all the time is because ........?????
NardDogNation @ 12/5/2013 8:48 PM
Is it just me or is Marv Albert a dick? He's constantly trying to correct Charles Barkley, who clearly is kidding around most of the time.

Chemistry was definitely an issue. The good part about Tyson being out is that it gave Bargs a chance to come into his own.
