are they flawless? no, but the knicks have nothing the clippers will want to acquire either guy, and both guys especially Blake would make the knicks better, because not only is Blake better than carmelo, but he is very good in the areas we are weak....
I don't watch enough Clippers games to form an opinion, I just thought that article was interesting because of the stats- I'm curious as to why that's the case.
A lot of western players seem to hate Griffin and have it out for him- I think his flopping has gotten under their skin. Personally I'd rather have the cap space than Griffin AND DeAndre Jordan. I think those two need separating. I'd accept a trade for just Griffin, but I'd feel deflated about it (not because I love melo, but because I'm just not a fan of Griffin.)

so he is? wow what timing.

Ha, interestingly, Lin, Parsons and Asik are all out until Dec 15th- hmm...
Seriously though, Melo is not a Morey kind of guy- he likes efficency etc, plus Melo and Harden could never co-exist. I think if we move him the Clips are the most likely trade partner, simply because he's more likely to re-sign there and he's friends with CP3, while CP3 and Griffin are said to be feuding. Still, don't see it happening- Dolan will refuse to believe Melo will walk, offer a max contract and then refuse to trade him out of a loyalty/spite principal.
I agree. I really believe Melo either stays or we deal him to LA in a package for Blake.
steve Blake? If you believe the clippers would deal blake Griffin for carmelo, I have a bridge that stretches from the US to Europe I want to sell you...
Clearly you don't realize the power Chris Paul and Doc Rivers hold in the organization. Also, i didn't say straight up, i said a package involving both players as the centerpiece.

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. I don't like Jordan or Griffin (albeit to a much lesser extent) but they are young, productive and have room for growth. At the very least, they'd help keep us entertained until we figure out a long term plan. I agree that both Jordan and Griffin need to be broken up sooner rather than later. If I got both back in a trade, I'd immediately flip Jordan for Dion Waiters and filler. After all, with Melo gone we'd need another perimeter scorer.

Dude give it up. You're never going to change his opinion; he's got some psychotic agenda with Melo. The best you could do is block his posts like how and several other posters have.
Stephen A's latest claim today is that Grunwald wanted to trade for Lamarcus Aldrige, but had Bargs forced on him because he's CAA. That one is more believable than Melo saying he's not staying.

It's not like we had the pieces to get Aldridge though
I don't get why people feel the need to block people. Can't you just ignore them or is it hard because they strike a nerve?
By the way blocking people doesn't help cos their conversations with others still show up

I sure hope that isn't true otherwise we have a major problem on our hands

So when do we actually get bennefit to sucking up to CAA? They are like the Taliban!
Portland is 16-3.
Wow, every team has a better record than us. We are at the bottom with Milwaukee.
CAA can't dictate to Melo where to play.

This CAA thing is ridiculous- they should be representing their individual members, who each will have conflicting aims and interests. For Dolan to think sucking up to them will result in anything big is ridiculous.

I have a low tolerance for stupid shit and a bad habit of trying to prove myself ( particularly if it can be perceived as a competition, as a former athlete). The two working in combination with certain people on certain topics is a bad combination for me, so blocking those "certain people" is a personal ideal, particularly if I know exactly what they are going to say I.e. "Melo is (fill in the worst possible thing you can think of)", rinse and repeat. It's nothing personnel on my part though.

I am with you 100%. I have the same problems, they definitely stem from the competitive nature.

Yeah last I heard he is. The only good thing is that the Nets suck too and it'd be hard for Barkley to criticize the Knicks so much when the team he defends is nearly just as bad.
