I think it was the bledsoe deal and dragic. They let Marshall go so he could find another opportunity. At least that's one way to think about it

NBA Gms aren't that generous. The Wizards would've tried to at least get second round pick out of him if he had value. It's possible he could've improved his shooting, but I need to see him prove it before I'm convinced. Plus, Murray's upside is probably about the same at this point. We need another project guard sitting on the bench? Heck, we have a rookie two-guard who contributes, and he can't get enough playing time.

Teams have to want to trade with you. If they get the feeling you Gonna waive him anyway why waste an asset.

It's obvious teans have slept on him.

The dleague is becoming really talented. So many nice players playing there. It's a shame the nba teans aren't really taking advantage of the talent.

I believe teams have to pay a small fee $10,000? to sign a dleague player. I know that was one reason given for why the Knicks signed Barron the first time.

Completely false. There are plenty of very good players playing in that league right now (and elsewhere) that can help an NBA club.

He kinda reminds me of a stripped down/less flashy version of UConn's Marcus Williams. Dude can pass it - that's his strength. Who's he passing the ball to on this team though? I don't know how effective he'd be here. Nobody on this team can make shots consistently and we don't get out and run and get easy baskets.. I just wish we played more uptempo. Say what you want about D'Antoni but his uptempo '7-sec. or less style' has it's good points. Exciting, faced-paced, a lot less thinking and more fast-breaking....Gotta have 2 things for a D'Antoni system to work -- capable offensive players and those players need to embrace the system 100%.
