Knicks · The reason why the Knicks played so bad is because (page 2)

WE HAVE NOTHING TO TRADE

WE HAVE ZERO ASSETS BESIDES SHUMPERT WHO ISN'T VALUED HIGHLY BY ANYONE

Get a grip people. This team is FUCKED for a long, long time with or without Melo here long-term.

markvmc @ 12/10/2013 9:45 PM
Nah, we'll find a way to trade current/future assets for another overrated and/or broken down star. It's how we do.

This my trade scenario, remember Detroit passed on Melo in the draft , now they have a chance to get him again.

Jennings
Billups
Melo
Smith
Drummond

I would trade Melo for Darko if I could!

I would trade all these Ex Nuggets for a bag of Skittles and a pack of sunflower seeds

Allanfan20 @ 12/10/2013 11:25 PM
Melo is chasing LALAs ass too much. JR is taking pics of her ass and posting it on twitter. Kenyon and Felton are looking at the pics too much while Amar'e daydreams about it. Especially during the matinees. Shumpert is writing too much poetry about it and Prigs and Bargs are too busy reading the poems. THJr is getting his ear chewed off by his dad about why he should be looking at the pics AND reading the poetry. Chris Smith was the one that keeps telling JR to do it. No wonder the Knicks are so dysfunctional!!

That sucks too because the sunflower seeds and skittles have the carbs that would provide the players with the energy needed to play defense. What a bummer.

Our owner believes Melo is Lebron.

You get those carbs through the draft, not through carbfucking.

Allanfan20 @ 12/10/2013 11:42 PM
That's not Dolans philosophy... He'd trade away the rest of your carbs for a bad contract attached to an overrated player. It's been proven.
markvmc @ 12/10/2013 11:48 PM
And that explains our history of trading for players who need to be on Atkins.

Our owner doesn't even know who Lebron is.

Back to the forum topic: ...of frontrunning fans creating all this surpus negative energy.

The NBA is evolving and its about ball movement. The new "BillyBall" is not about stars but about a roster/formula that creates winning.

The teams that do it WITH stars are succeeding. Spurs have done it for years.

This is just one reason why some of you are missing the big picture about Lebron. This dude will pass the ball and sees shyt many players don't.

Michael was a different player as Wilt before him. These are guys that define era's.

Knicks went "lets get two or three stars like the Heat do!!!".

Brooklyn might have gone about it the wrong way also but............Kidd might be a bad coach but he is raw and less than 20 games under his belt.
He is adjusting and slowing the game down FOR NOW. He'll need to get his guys into rythem. We saw what they did to miami the second game of the season and it looked right. Injury and time MIGHT save their season.

All teams have injury problems. Feltons hammy's are a concern. They guy comes in skinny and is off to an awful season. Concern. Not having a proper back up. Priggy is 36 years old and can play, but not 30+ min.

Amare is starting to come around. Far from his better days but he is trending.

Tyson has to start over and no get hurt either. Im concerned Woodson has lost his team and they won't fight for him. Knicks are lazy.

Lots of season left but the trend is not good.

Nets have lots things to work thru but them "sucking" and "kidd sucks" are not elements knick fans should take solace in. They are a work in progress. Are the Knicks?

playa2 @ 12/12/2013 7:04 PM
It's quite clear that the knicks players have been hearing footsteps trade rumors for awhile and none of the players wants to leave the night lights of NY.

This is probably why the team has been sucking eggs. The 2 games they blew teams out without Tyson shows that this team isn't as bad as it's been playing.

THE PLAYERS (SOME OF THEM) figure if the team sucks and they keep losing ,then nobody would want them in a trade.

Finally they came together and were told nobody's getting traded(lied too) and the players were ecstatic and balled like Da Rucker and blew two teams out of the gym.

Now when the rumors came back in a few news outlets about a few players in trades they played wimpy again.

The players now know the better they play, the more likely players will be attractive enough to be moved and sent packing.

After the trade rumors vanish and the deadline passes, the knicks will ball like it's 1999!!!

The guys who's names come up in the rumors prove my comments above to be correct.

So bad they can blow out two teams by 30 and 38, yea ok , don't believe what I wrote, these guys don't want to be traded and it effects the whole team.

They also lost by 41 points and 31 points. You're talking about a 6-16 team and nitpicking two blowouts against bottom of the barrel talent. Look in the mirror and admit it- this team and this coach suck. The team is not going anywhere and Kyle Lowry isn't going to suddenly raise our winning percentage .350+ points

Listen , the locker room is divided, the coach hasn't the foggiest, the owner wants to just make money guys on the block don't want to leave.

IF YOU THINK THIS TEAM IS THAT BAD BY BEING DESTROYED BY 41 and 31 points, then you don't understand MSG Knick drama politics.

Wait, you always say players can't stand the pressure of MSG and that's its a very hard place to play, but now you think they want to stay in New York on a losing team where management and the puppet coach constantly throw players under the bus? That doesn't make sense. Shumpert probably can't wait to leave. Do I think our record reflects the talent on our team? No, but we're not a good team at all.

Gallanari and Chandler did the same thing, they didn't want to leave either.

Let me help you understand what I'm saying.

Some players just want a coach who isn't bias towards certain players unfairly and they want to stay, some of the others like Woody because they can't do no wrong with him as coach.

The team is divided. Guys who want to stay are playing like crap so their stock drops hoping nobody would want them.

Is everything a conspiracy with you? Maybe Shumpert, Felton, JR and the gang just suck and that's why they're playing poorly.
