He makes an excuse or choosing a positive word for every Euro player in his broadcast, and will pump up and over exaggerate over anything a white player does. I've been listening to him for years now, he isn't as critical on a national broadcast, but on MSG I don't know how Clyde sits next to him without slapping him with a wet soapy dishrag. The strong comments he makes and doesn't make on certain players he likes or dislikes.

I like both of those guys compared to Breen, they tell it how it is , not just how and what they want you to think about a player or the game.
Jeff won't come back to NY unless Pat Riley is here with him or somebody he can look up to and trust.

I like Legler in the studio but I am not a fan of Breen, Barry, and at times Clyde.
Breen is a heck of a play by play guy. After Marv he is the best as far as basketball goes. Those other guys are color commentators. Half the time they are mailing it in

yes I agree, but his comments didn't exactly close the door on whether or not he would consider the job if offered after Woodson is fired. The only thing he is clear on is that he won't even consider it while Woddson is still the coach (no collusion). If Woodson is fired, it would be a good time for VG to come in because it is clear that the roster will be reshaped this year and he will have input on personal if he does take the job… He definitely won't consider the job if he doesn't. Sounds like it's in the wind and something is going to happen soon. 12/15 is less then a week away and we are looking like that is doomsday for our coach and certain players. I'd be surprised if Woodson makes it past the 14th…eh no, I'd be shocked.

I see it as a sign that he is considering it. It's not like he is facing the media. He can just sidestep the question from his broadcast mates.
Jeff just said on espn radio the producers had a discussion an that was it. Kinda beat around the bush and he said he is happy doing what he is doing and this was not in his control and looks forward to doing more Knicks games

Yea I guess I could care less about that and just focus on how he calls a great game. The other play play NBA guys suck

To me Breen just loves Team BB and hates selfish BB. He wants to see more of a pure BB game. He's also got that referee mentality. I don't mind Breen that much, tho it seems he goes out of his way to not seem biased when doing NY games, so it comes across like he's hating. Still it's better than listening to the broadcast from other teams, which is unlistenable. Those homers are hard to take. I'm still mad at Dolan for firing Marv.

I hate other team broadcasts. Knick fans are pretty lucky to have Clyde and Breen.

The only time Breen irritates me is when he sticks up for the officials even when they are wrong
To his credit I think he listened to the criticism. This year he's been a lot more critical of the refs.
Those Boston announcers are THE WORST
