Felton is injured
Yea I know but it gives everyone a chance to see that we can win this way. It's not the 2pg system. It's getting the ball out if Felton's hands and putting it into the hands of someone who will make smarter decisions and fight to stay in front of his man defensively
Yeah, but we've lost without Ray too. The only thing a win will mean is that we're capable of getting every once in a while.
as the one Knick fan ranted, talk to me when they have won five in a row or are five under 500.

One easily appeased ranter.
We have a chance to win when playing any slow team...
Not too many of this in NBA... Chicago, Brooklyn, Indy (too good for us anyways)... and that's about it.
All the rest struggle...
I take back what I said. Once Woodson limits JR and holds him accountable he has figured it out

if they had any other PG out there instead of hintrash.... knicks would have been in trouble..
Knicks are going nowhere with present starters/rotations. Id like to see a different cast if not starting then at least getting a good long run together. Play Bargani, Amare , Melo, Hardaway and Murray and see what happens. D upfront might be questionable but you'll have a team that on floor can put the ball in and Murray gets a chance to concentrate on defending pg and simply distributing. PG platy has been awful , time to give the kid a real look. Rotate Shump, Prigs, Alrich and let the awful JR, Artest and Beno stew until they get their acts or health together
Well if Shump needs a few days I see no reason not to play Murry other than we have a dumb ass coach which I'm starting to believe every day..
Woodson is terrible. JR is terrible. That is all.
The whole thing is frustrating. Just to think we waisted over a decade during the Layden Isiah years to only wind up in an even bigger hole. One of the best drafts in history and we don't have our lottery pick. The owner sucks, the front office sucks the coach sucks the players suck.is this kind of ineptitude even possible from other big market teams jeez!
PABLO
HARD JR
MELO
BARGS
TYSON
with Felton/ Stat or K Mart / Shump or JR off the bench

Sure it is. Look at the Nets, Jets and Mets. This draft really hurts because there are solid prospects at every position. If it's any consolation, it looks like we knocked this year's draft out of the park. Outside of Dipo, I have no problem saying we got the most NBA ready two-guard in the draft. Snell looked unimpressive last night and Caldwell-Pope sucks too. I expect McLemore to improve, but he's been shaky at the start.
I rather fire Woodson and salvage Shumpert by pinpointing his role. Limit JR and make THJ your 6th man
I was dead set on not resigning JR not even for a dime because I knew Woodson would over rely on this eractic ass. On and off the court
At least we know we can just about beat injury depleted teams with no quick players or semblance of an offense and who make almost as many mental mistakes as us at crunch time.
Hey - a .250 team will occasionally win games! YAY!

Yea I said in the offseason starting pg was our biggest issue. When it became evident that Woodson was trotting Felton out there again and penciled him in as a starter that's when I lowered my expectations to 45-46 wins. Little did I know we'd struggle to get 20 wins. The front office is to blame. I was vehemently against bringing Felton back at the time because I knew the Knicks over valued him after playing for Dantoni for 2months in a system that actually catered to his strengths. Pushing the ball down the court and pick n roll with Amare. Felton returns with no Amare and a career 40% from the field and the inability to run a half court offense and see the floor like a true pg leader. I will admit I had no idea Felton would be this awful defensively. I guess dantoni's system masked that
