What Dantoni says is true. Lakers fans do suck.
This just after Dwight Howard left and took 30 mil less because he didnt want to play for dantoni and he thought his chances were better in houston. LA fans aren't used to losing.

Laker fans have it figured out if the team stinks the stadium is empty. The ran two NFL teams out if town due to attendance. There is a reason the Lakers get gifts. There will be no team in LA if they lose regularly. They have to keep the fair weather fans interested hence the gifts. The NBA is rigged up and down any way you look at it.
It's amazing that the team was even at .500 before all the injuries. I think the Laker fans need to relax and appreciate that they don't have a championship team anymore, but i've watched all their games and that team plays hard and has been exciting for the most part. They're just not that good. Especially with all those injuries. The Lakers are 2.5 out of the 8th seed and if they were healthy my guess is that MDA would have them as a playoff team. They need to relax. Imagine if they had our team?
Did Danphoney dislike the fans in NY or just the media ?

Lakers fans should just be grateful they have the record they have- their roster is pitiful. Speaking of entitled fans who complain too much- Bulls fans have spent the past few years whining about their coach, Deng and Noah- talk about not appreciating a good thing!

lakers fans are phony as hell.. they had a sellout streak going which ended this year because... kobe wasn't playing. they're a bunch of frontrunners.
Well if the LA mob has given you guys like Shaq, Kobe, Kareem, Howard ETC.... over the years you want your return as a fan for letting them run the city.
I just think the LA fans are spoiled and there's no way they should be jumping ship like that. That team plays hard despite the fact that they currently have no star players. They play like a team and the give effort. I mean they've been playing with no PG's and a bunch of young guys that have no real experience being front line players. MDA has done a good job developing some of the young guys who no one expected to do much of anything.
