Knicks · Game thread: Thunder Vs Knicks: just pretend it isn't happening... (page 4)

OKC's bench is a real unit. Ours is a group of guys that hardly play together. I know we've had injuries, but with no set rotation it's hard to develop a bench like OKC has. We really need some consistency. Maybe if Woody had played Murry more the chemistry and timing would be better with him and his teammates.
nixluva @ 12/25/2013 4:35 PM
Why can't Woody have Murry actually being aggressive rather than just coming down and immediately giving up the ball. He should be running some PnR as well. Let him get a feel actually running the offense, not just being a designated guy that brings the ball up.
TeamBall @ 12/25/2013 4:36 PM
Do any fans actually go to the game? The Knicks should be getting booed out of the building right now.
misterearl @ 12/25/2013 4:36 PM
C'mon

Nixluva - how does any coach have a set rotation with injuries?

VCoug @ 12/25/2013 4:37 PM
Why the fuck are Tyson and Amare still out there? Are we trying to get them hurt?
nixluva @ 12/25/2013 4:38 PM
There you go Murry!!! LET THE KID PLAY
anrst @ 12/25/2013 4:40 PM

We have no such thing. I like to call what we do a hope and a prayer. We give it to melo, JR or Amare for an ISO and hope and pray that whatever crap shot they get goes in.

It would be hard this year, but Woody has made it worse with his constant changes. I know it's not going to be easy, but dude just hasn't done a good job of trying to find some semblance of stability with his rotations and lineups. Even before the injuries piled up he didn't have a real rotation.
playa2 @ 12/25/2013 4:45 PM
The owner is to blame for Woody, Iso Melo, JR Smith , Chris Smith and the high ticket prices for the real fans
nixluva @ 12/25/2013 4:45 PM
Why did Woody take Murry out? I would've let the kid keep playing. I doubt he was tired. Seemed like he was getting more comfortable out there.
anrst @ 12/25/2013 4:47 PM
put in chris...wtf
nixluva @ 12/25/2013 4:49 PM
Why is STAT still in the game? He should have Bargs in there rather than risk STAT. Put Murry in there. Heck if anything put Chris Smith in there at this point.
anrst @ 12/25/2013 4:51 PM
stat playing means woody is dumber than even the biggest haters of us thought

I'm just DONE with Woodson. Why the heck would he play STAT late in a blowout? Aldrich is in there and they could've gone small and just played the kids.

playa2 @ 12/25/2013 5:01 PM
Dolan just scratches his head as the Thunder knocks down a last second three

How he can scratch the thing he does not have?

It would make more sense to be done with Dolan and not give a shit about Woodson. He's just a distraction.

He's coaching a bottom 5 roster and working for Dolan. That's an impossible job. You and some others are clearly microanalyzing every possible decision, which is what always happens when an overrated roster surprises people who expected more. It's what many metrics expert predicted would happen during the season actually. In this case, clearly if Woodson kept stable lineups while we were losing you'd criticize him for being stubborn and inflexible.
