It's the China league, but it's still 74 points.
I wanted this dude on the team so badly. With injuries, dude would have been starting. Even without injury I could see him dominating preseason and straight up winning the starting spot outright.
Shame man. I believe this summer was the right time to bring him back to the nba. shame man cuz we worked him out 3 times. I hope they still are in contact with him. I hope he even wants to be here. Total missed opportunity. http://basketball.asia-basket.com/player...
He would not have played unless he had been a Woodson favorite.
Not impressed even JR averaged 35.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 29 games while in China....even had a 60 point playoff game there.
What a bum. Maybe when he's averaging 100 points and 30 assists he'd be worth a look.
I dont care what pro or semi pro league you play in. 74 pts scored is some feat. I guess the question is whether or not his pg and defensive skills can translate to NBA. Was haapy to see Murray get minutes and perform
This proves one again that Marbury sucks...

Agree. He really wanted to be a Knick from what I was reading at the time.
I dunno man, how often do these D-League, non-marquee foreign league phenom's end up sticking and blowing up in the NBA? It's not too often and usually these guys aren't on an NBA roster for a reason. Hey, OTOH the Knicks have unearthed some gems the past couple years I have to give credit there but let's not get too dusty eyed over what might have been when what might have been was a 14th man warming the pine and/or in the Woodson "rookie doghouse". I don't think any d-leaguer could've saved this "ship be sinking" roster.
But hey that's all just "My Perogative"
Thank you, thank you I'll be here all week. Try the veal! Is this an audience or an oil painting?!? Don't forget to tip your waitress ladies and gentlemen! GOODNIGHT!

Well he wasn't a dleague guy he played in Europe, won a player of the month once last year and was named the leagues best scorer. He was a lot more accomplished then a guy like Cope who was a great find. I think the question might be do you go with the younger huge upside guy like Brown or the vet that is a starter/rotation player in Udrih. Last years team would want to go safe and grab Udrih. I don't think Udrih puts up 74 in a game ever but he might or might not be a better fit for this team.
. . . D-League, non-marquee foreign league phenom's . . .
I'm agnostic on Brown but as for "D-League, non-marquee foreign league phenom's" . . . why not?
Can't wait to see how many points Chris Smith scores when he joins him over there.
The guy has been a legend around the basketball circuit for a while. The 2012 summer league the dude went ham but chose to sign overseas cuz he got paid more money guaranteed than the partially guaranteed money the nba was offering. We've talked about this here before. He's a street ball legend. Nba players vouch for him. He is the king of the drew league in California. Like someone mentioned he had a great showing in euro league last year. He's currently throwing ignorant scoring numbers in China.
He had his cup of tea in the nba but had his rookie mistakes I'm a huge fan of his. Would be nice for him to have his big break with our team but I think that he might have lost that opportunity because our kicks got cocky thinking we just need a slow and steady vet in Beno.
Bobby can't be signed til April to a nba team. We have the best opportunity for any point guard coming out, but wiodson doesn't play new guys. Watch him go to a team and blow up just so our media can blast us for another mistake
