Hortford is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle. The dude is still a beast and a torn pec is not that serious and he can come back in time for next season.

So the idea would be to trade Tyson and Jr Smith for Hortford, Lou Williams and Elton Brand.

Brand probably will be waived after the trade. Lou Williams would be a nice weapon for us off the bench or starting. Hortford would make the Knicks very dangerous especially if Melo resigns. Hortford, Melo and Bargs up front is very good.

Atlanta does it because Tyson is a true center and fits better with Milsap. They have Milsap, Korver, Tyson, Teague and Jr Smith....they got better right away and ready for the playoffs.

Isn't Horford really a power forward that plays center? He would help with rebounding but can't see him
making a differnce against Indiana with Hibbert.
(One four game win winning streak and and I have us battling it out with Indianna )

Indy is maybe just maybe one of a few teams where Bargs is a plus defensively so Hordford would guard west.
