Knicks · Miami Heat didn't want to play the knicks last yr (page 1)

playa2 @ 1/13/2014 6:40 AM
Heat is scared, I see knicks upsetting them in the playoffs if they meet. They are the perfect matchup for the heat.

Kenyon was telling reporters the other day that C. Bosh doesn't like playing against him.

This is a dangerous team that goes beyond their record. They can easily go toe-to-toe with anyone in the league & they've proved that already.

This team is gonna be dangerous in the playoffs, they have too many weapons to not be. They're finally getting it together & learning how to play with each others talents.

No this is not an overreaction thread. There's nothing to overreact to yet. This is a mere prediction.

Indiana couldn't beat the heat, they didn't have a Melo on the roster.

The heat new the knicks had a few players that was throwed off, and come playoff time they would act out.

Bonn1997 @ 1/13/2014 4:52 PM
Yeah, Lebron looked really scared all post-season

He was terrified the whole of the 2012 playoff series vs us! Man, I'm still traumatised by the horror of game 1...

Game 1 was a sham. The Heat were definitely better than us but the refs took us out of the game extremely quickly. Game could not have been called in a more lop-sided way. I'm not saying we would have won, we wouldn't have, but we wouldn't have lost by 33 points...That game of atrocities set the tone for the whole series.

He was scared of us all reg season, so he dared not play against us in the post season.

Some teams just has another teams number mentally.

NYY1NYK2 @ 1/13/2014 5:38 PM
I wouldnt say scared but you have a point. This team is starting to get it together.

We beat Miami, San Antonio, Mavericks, and we shoulde beaten Houston. All Playoff bound teams.
I think the knicks have a shot against EVERY TEAM in the east NOT NAMED INDIANA

Yep I agree- they would have beaten us anyways, but the reffing was ridiculous- Ed Malloy especially. Lebron flopped about 3 times and got the whistle each time. We weren't allowed to defend them. Brutal to watch, then Shump tore his ACL. Just horrific!

playa2 @ 1/13/2014 6:38 PM
I Really can't say they would have won, the refs pulling the chair on us with momentum driven phantom fouls said otherwise.
Melonoma @ 1/13/2014 7:53 PM
Let's get ourselves in a position to not play the Heat or Pacers in the first round, then we can get somewhat excited about our season.
Nalod @ 1/13/2014 8:33 PM
Stern got it bad for the knicks!

Playa got his conspiracy thang on!

GustavBahler @ 1/13/2014 8:49 PM
The only team in the east the Heat knew they would really have to battle is Indy. With Kidd MIA to end the season I doubt they were worried at all.
H1AND1 @ 1/13/2014 8:50 PM

I doubt the Heat fear the Knicks all that much in a 7 game series. I really, really doubt that. Indiana is probably the only Eastern conference team that the Heat genuinely consider a threat to them taking the conference.

Remember after they beat the Knicks in round 1 a couple years back and the Heat players were joking about some predictions that NY would give them trouble? Doesn't sound like a team that is shook or intimidated.

Like Bosh said he doesn't like to play against Kmart, It's easy to make comments after a game.

I don't care whether they fear us or not- I just want to beat them!

Well, yeah! I hope we destroy them every single time!

jrodmc @ 1/14/2014 12:18 PM
But will they want to play us 5 years from now?

Is there a black ops scenario in play here?
If you look at Chris Andersen under a black light, do his tats actually say "I'm afeared of the MeloMan"?
Does LeQ actually flop because of the influx of online gambling, or is he sending subliminal messages to North Korea?

Is Riley actually a Dolanite mole? The woods are lovely, dark and deep...

KEEPCAMBYNY @ 1/14/2014 3:44 PM
Are people really bringing up the 2012 playoffs? That team was a rotten corpse! Broken Shumpert, Broken Lin, Flu Tyson, brokedown Amare, broken knee Baron Davis, Melo, and a bunch of scrubs aside from JR I guess. That team was nothing like this one.

Well I'm talking about last yr's squad Shump brought us back he and Copeland , then the phantom of the opera calls on JR when he didn't touch stephenson got us rattled after Melo threw the ball away and that dumb attempt to challenge Hibbert who was already stationed at the rim. That to sealed the deal.
You can tell Tyson was sick look how skinny he looks, he's bigger than that now.
