Are you keeping track yourself or is there a place with box scores that gives that info?

I think he's counting passes that could have been baskets. The official count is two.

Players are doing a good job cutting to the rim and Melo is finding them. Guys are moving without the ball, spacing looks good, playing like a real team.

Dragic is ridiculous.
BigDaddyG @ 1/13/2014 8:46 PM
What's up with Pablo and Dragic. Save that crap until the game is over.
franco12 @ 1/13/2014 8:46 PM
this team is nite and day different- what was it that turned things around for this group? Baffling!
CrushAlot @ 1/13/2014 8:47 PM
Great first half. Dragic is really quick. Knicks look good. Melo is back to being unstoppable.
knicks1248 @ 1/13/2014 8:47 PM

Yeah and Felton is playing like a new man. Looks like a real floor general most of the time.

Shumpert's turnaround was definitely key. I think his being out of it and worried about being traded badly affected the team. Now that he's energetic and involved again, the team is feeling more like a team.

Also the Knicks are beginning to get healthy again, so that's another thing.

Absolutely, Shumpert gave up on the playground moves as well.

Yeah it is nice hearing about guys on the Knicks being proactive and innovative with stretching, preventive and rehab type training. Felton came back in great shape.

nba.com keeps track of assist attempts but they count it only if the player you pass to shoots the ball. There's a lot of great info. here:

They don't report this in the box scores though.

Making better decisions as well, isn't jacking up shots, looking to dish and penetrate when the opportunity presents itself. Doing a great job of picking his moments.

I think he looks quicker off the bounce, like his legs are back. He had a tough time driving again at most defenders earlier this year. Now he's driving, cutting a little harder, hitting the offense boards and elevating with more consistency on his J.

He does look like he's got a spring in his step. The only criticism I have is Melo sometimes has the lane but waits too long and starts posting up. Not a big deal at this point since it doesn't happen often.

Blame shump and Felton for that turnover
