JR wanted to play right? He has all the garbage time he can handle now.

The players should have thought about that when they were so eager to push Lin out.
This Lin worship is pathetic. One more time; Lin didn't want to be here. He didn't come back in the playoffs. He took his matched contract to be altered. Once again; Lin didn't want to be here

Lin had no say in if he could leave or stay. That is the nature of restricted contracts. The Knicks had the option to sign him and they chose not to. I can not blame a person who was one month from being out of the league for getting as much money as he can.

post of the night....
I though Lin left for more money.
Please repeat this until it sinks in. Thank you
Tyler looks good every time he plays. Do you think woody will try him in non garbage time? The only way he gets non garbage time is if woody is forced to due to injuries.
To all the guys who keep chirping about the roster vs. the coach, tell me you wouldn't get more from Thibs with this roster than Woody? If the coach doesn't make a difference then why even talk about Phil Jackson or any other top coach for that matter. This roster isn't great but that's not the point we're making. No one is saying the Pacers aren't a great roster, but they are also EXTREMELY WELL COACHED!!! That's evident from watching them play. They execute at a high level and we don't. They have a plan to beat us, but Woody NEVER has a plan for how to beat the Pacers. Think about it. When has he shown you that he has a good handle on how to have his team play in order to beat the Pacers? When the Knicks win you never say "WOW that was a well coached team! All the play calls and defensive tactics were so perfect for that opponent! Woody is one of the ELITE BB MINDS!"
I wonder if Woodson goes small tomorrow and uses bargs and Tyson at the five.

You live by the outside jump shot and you die by the out side jump shop. You live by no defense and you die by no defense.

I don't think that is possible.

Oh I didn't even see that post. I don't see how the players pushed Lin out. It was up to Dolan ultimately and something that we don't know happened to change his mind about him.

Simple answer for that is Vogel is an a**hole

If you recall. Lin's contract from Houston was matched. It was agreed at that point, that he had a three year contract with the Knicks. Lin took that contract BACK TO Houston, who then added the poison pill, pushing the luxury tax and the third year way up. Nobody was going to match that contract after a fifteen game tryout. He is where he wanted to be. A footnote to all this is that Houston is desperately trying to trade him so that the third year poison pill doesn't come back to bite them in the ass.

When Tyson Chandler came back we started loosing again and there is a reason for that. Tyson just can't score around the basket. We are better with Bargs at the center spot. We don't play well with Bargs and Tyson in the game together. Especially when Felton can't guard a point guard.

If you don't defend you don't win you die.
Another loss to come against the clippers tomorrow, we'll be looking at a 3 game losing streak. This is why it was so important to win the bobcats game...

Nah,he's just emptying his bench. Cope is that far down in the pecking order. Copeland leaving was a chess move by Walsh/Bird. He(Copeland) might have served some purpose with the Pacers, but it hurt the Knicks more to lose him.

Again cant just balme teh coach. We dont have the talent to be a contender
When you get a superior coach in here who doesn't play favorites or who doesn't play to the team strengths you get what you see. These guys are better than what they are showing.
Maybe but not much better
The problem is we are looking for the better , not this nonsense.
I know this team has some internal issues and this is how they play when it raises it's ugly head.
Wally and the panel are telling you we lack strategy in more ways than one.

The coach, just like everyone else in the organization, follows the mandates handed down by the owner. Woodson isn't the best coach, but I don't think it's fair to blame him for playing favorites. I think he's just following orders in a lot of instances.
Well then we might as well let Herb coach the team, he's the in house snitch anyway, just getting a check for information to Isiah and Dolan.

They're MUCH better than they've shown! A good coach would have this talent at least playing to its potential. This is WAY BELOW this teams potential.
What did he do his first two years in ny? The only guy to win anything since jvg
Woody had player coaches on the team, no brainer there
