Pacers are a better Team plain and simple. Look im not defending woodson but you are placing all the blame on him. the knicks arent a good TEAM. They play no defense, ahve no starting point guard, and other that melo have no scorers. Bargs JR Smith and shumpert are all inconsistent. they need to rebuild
What you say May be the case and I've NEVER said the Knicks have better talent, but the Pacers aren't so much better that the Knicks can't be expected to play competitive BB. That is where coaching comes in. If any of you think a better coach couldn't get more out of this team you're crazy. Woodson is not a good coach!

What you're doing is taking the easy way out. This roster is not so bad that a GOOD coach wouldn't be able to win with it. It's not news that the Pacers are a better team but they're also better coached! They play a TEAM oriented style! If the Knicks were equally coached they would be more competitive. That goes for offensive and defensive strategy and rotations! Woody is inept!

He's not taking the easy way out he is being truthful. You realize that NOBODY is defending Woody. they are simply saying that the talents sint that good other than melo
Melo is not getting the guys involved tonight. He is always the main focus and he has to know that.

They're MUCH better than they've shown! A good coach would have this talent at least playing to its potential. This is WAY BELOW this teams potential.

The coach, just like everyone else in the organization, follows the mandates handed down by the owner. Woodson isn't the best coach, but I don't think it's fair to blame him for playing favorites. I think he's just following orders in a lot of instances.
