You gotta,

don't know if Woody has the time to make that type of adjustment on the fly, you would need at least a training camp to implement change like this,

so we gotta slug it out somehow and box for a while.

truth to face: bargs played like a 6'2" guy, so it's really not like we're losing a big--- real talk. this that and the third. word is bond.

didn't realize we had 9 healthy players?

What about Tyler- I think he might get off the bench before Aldrich.

Woody won't start Hardawy JR- he'll probably go with Prigs and bring Beno in when needed with JR and Hardaway spotting in at the SF & SG spots respectively. Tyler first big off the bench to spot Tyson.

He has no real choice but to use a smaller line up.

Best thing that can happen is Melo gets injured - with all his minutes, just a matter of time.

Cartman718 @ 1/24/2014 7:09 AM
i send tyson to the bench and promote jr smith to start. also send felton to bench and start toure murry. switch all day on defense baby. carmelo's job being the hardest of course. but on offense we have a super fast lineup.
Bonn1997 @ 1/24/2014 7:57 AM
I thought you said Tyson can't be part of a faster lineup?
nyk4ever @ 1/24/2014 8:20 AM
id take felton out of the lineup.. he's been absolutely god awful

Forget Felton

It's time to audition. Starters:

C Tyson, back up your talk
F Tyler, for rebounding and defensive presence
F Melo, point forward, has never missed the playoffs in his career
SG Hardaway JR, yes, he can play
PG Murry, defensive ability, long live the BBC

Next

F - Shumpert, sixth man
G - Prigs, 15 good minutes
G - Smith, do something other than shoot

C - Aldrich
G - Udrih

Never happen, but I like it.

I don't mind Felton when he is playing well. He's probably just in the wrong shape right now (round, out of-)

This is going for most of his NBA career.

BRIGGS - what makes Felton faster?

Go big or get out rebounded

prigioni-- better orchestrator
hardaway jr-- good shooter, good energy
shumpert-- he can hit that corner three
anthony-- necessary evil
aldrich-- bigger body, stronger legs and can board, tyson's minutes should be limited

Vmart @ 1/24/2014 5:27 PM
Once Amare comes back he should start.
Melo sf
Amare PF
Chandler c
Hardaway sg
Felton pg

Biggest difference between last year and this year bargs. Remove him and look what happened. I knew it the second I heard bargs was done

I liked Bargs. I think you needed to remove a big. Tyson or Bargs. Tyson barely played tonight. Left the game with a little more than 5 minutes left in the first and didn't return until the third quarter. Tyson was brought in for d, intangibles, chemistry, leadership and a championship pedigree. I have found him to be really disappointing in all of the areas that are supposed to be his strengths. Tyler was really impressive. I liked the Tyler bargs pairing in the limited minutes they played together. Knicks should check out the market for Tyson. He is a luxury on the knicks if you like what he brings. The locker room drama, poor play, losing streaks that occur when he comes back aren't worth 15 mil in my opinion.

Bargs is probably one of the best players we had who actually would not settle for jacking a jump shot and actually drive to the hoop.

Tyson and Bargs should never have seen court time together.

I agree- Tyson is a luxury and if we can move him for value- a PG- then by all means - lets try.

Nope bargs is an inconsistent teases of a player. Its pretty simple--going 4ward IF Carmelo stays here----9 man fast. Ive even reconsidered on Tyson for now--you still need a 5 man and there is just none of them. If we play a 4-1 --lets look to improve and plays this way. BIG mistake--changing this style. WE needed to enhance it--we did with THJR --also keep Tyler. I think with two seasons he'll be very good.
