Very enjoyable! Bargs is out and suddenly we play with passion and have some camaraderie and team chemistry. I still don't see us making the playoffs, but for one night it was great to see Melo get the record, and Tyler play well in the minutes he was given. Also Aldrich got 8 rebs in limited mins.

1-5 since Tyson returned.
Well that's kind of pointless since the team already had a 54 win season with him as the starting center.
I didn't see the game. Why did Tyson play so little? I'm hoping I can catch the highlights of Melo's performance.
Great night for melo so big props to him. However its still the Bobcats and we still probably arent going anywhere. but besides that it was nice to have a dominant win for a change

Nice to get some Knicks media coverage that isn't an embarrassment!
Great Moment in Knick History...I love great moments in basketball....I'm mad Woodson took Melo out when he did. Should have let him go for 70

He took him our perfect time otherwise his FG% would have dipped cheapening the feat. His legs were going. He could e shot 80%
And you don't want to see him get injured

Well he played in 66 games last year. The team won at a rate of 750% when he was out. This year the team is 6-13 when he plays and 10-14 when he doesn't. The last three wins he has been a part of he has averaged 15 minutes of court time. I think he is more of a problem than a solution at this point.
Fuck! This is probably going to be the highlight of the season and I missed it! Anyone know if I can catch a replay of this online? Or when MSG will be showing the game again?

MSG will be showing this game forever..........
Now if we just can get Tyson going and then the knicks can make a push to 500.

Tyson was tied with Melo in win shares for the team last season, so his impact was definitely great.
Ironically he's already PASSED Bargnani in win shares while playing 25 less games.
Impact....and that is all.

Prior to last nights game.
Not counting the very brief minutes after he left early (due to a broken leg and a respiratory illness) -- in a loss to Charlotte, on November 5, and during a win in Dallas exactly two months later -- the Knicks are just 4-12 (.333) with Chandler, and a considerably more respectable 11-15 (.423) without him this season. They have also been outscored by 6.6 points more when Chandler is on the floor (-9.1 points per 48 minutes) than when he's off the court (-2.5 points per 48 minutes

I don't think anyone denies that this has been a rough season for Chandler, although there are better stats then on/off plus minus. If you do go by on/off #s, then he was pretty good last year - much better than in his DPOY year actually.

You don't think Dolan was planning on giving him the max before tonight?
Nope....But nobody should predict what Dolan will do. He's very unpredictable. Personally, I think he would've been on the trading block, if he stunk it up tonight. He went from trade bait to max player in one game. I'm with the rest....he should learn from Lebron and take less, if he really wants to win. The problem is Kobe is his mentor!
Papabear Says
Think how his endorsements will grow.
Papabear wrote:Papabear SaysI heard that TKF was crying over Melo's success.
LOL Just joking
but I'll bet he's not happy for Melo
LOL We need to get a crying face
I don't think any one game would change his views. Nor should it.
It was a great performance but you can't just ignore how the 4 years of this era have gone.
TKF's Game of the Season!
