I would start the rest from 4 min mark of 3rd depending on score. The Knicks are known to blow big leads.
As I say that Cavs go on a 7 to 0 run.
they are also doing too much iso
Even though JR is being guarded by a 4 he still needs to call for the Tyson screen instead of isolating high. They need to go back to the high sets which leaves the lane area free. Those sets are what opened up those free lanes to the basket.

Wish they would feature THJ more let him get into a flow.
It looks like JR freezes him out. Maybe it's just cause I dislike JR but I see it sometimes
I think you are reaching just a bit.
Probably just my annoyance with JR coloring my perception

We've been playing BUM TEAMS and none of this means Bargs being out is the reason guys are hitting shots last 4 games. Before this some were saying Tyson was the problem when we won while he was out. Come on!
I respect that you are a bigtime Bargs fan and i have nothing against the guy. But most fans agree taht he really wasnt needed especially for 3 picks
I think the Knicks need to play with one big. I think bargs or Tyson fit well. Also a bit tired of hearing about picks in the bargs trade. One compromised first rounder was moved. The 2nd rounder the Knicks got from OKC for brewer will be one of the last picks in the draft. Grunwald got a starter and cap space.

You keep saying I'm a big time Bargs fan which you think is cute but when have you ever read me say anything about Bargs before (the trade)? I just like to counter opinions with a balanced response showing the truth as opposed to perceptions. Bargs was not the reason this team was losing. Bargs being out isn't the reason we're winning. The trade for a 28 yr old 7'er wasn't a bad move. Bargs seems like he's more of a C now and he's played best for us at that position. Tyson went down and we won with Bargs at C.

You kind of just contradicted yourself in your own post. First you say the Knicks need to play 1 big, then you call Bargs a starter. If we are playing with 1 big bargs will be the one coming off the bench. No way will woody ever bench Tyson for Bargs.

well now with tyson getting back in shape and tyler we are in better shape so it doesnt mattter anymore i guess
If Bargs was shooting the 3 like he did earlier in his career then yes he would work but its about the cross matches that really hurt teams.

This
I am reading an article that points out something that is damning against Woody.
Since the beginning of last season, the Knicks have gone 50-28 (64.1%) when three or more players miss a game due to injury—far better than their 22-27 (44.9%) record when two or fewer players are out. That 19.2% disparity in winning percentage is easily the largest in the NBA over that span, according to Stats LLC.
I take that to mean that Woody playing the wrong players are a big reason for our losing. For example at the beginning of the season when Amare was looking close to retirement Woody kept playing him no matter what.

It's a shame that Grunwald lost his job. He actually provided a lot of options for Woodson, but I think Woody made the mistake of just not recognizing soon enough that he should give up his experiment and go back to what the team did best last year. Adding Bargs just gave the team more depth and options. Knicks went 6-1 with Bargs at C and then went on the losing streak when Tyson came back. No one wants to talk about that tho. It's all Bargs fault, rather than Woodson for continuing to force Tyson and Bargs together.

Agree. Also they should have been 7-0 if jr didn't mess up. Tyson was horrible on his return and immediately began his finger pointing. Also I agree about grunwald.

Interesting statistics.
I love whoever is screaming when Cavs shoot. They bricked 2 of 3 shots I have heard it.
Chandler off the dribble!
Chandler with the euro step?

It's abundantly clear that Woody doesn't handle it well when you give him too many options. He has been lucky when injury has helped him make his decisions on who to play. Rather than just manning up and sitting guys for the sake of the team.
yellowboy90 wrote:If Bargs was shooting the 3 like he did earlier in his career then yes he would work but its about the cross matches that really hurt teams.
Just before the injury, Bargs was rounding out his game at the center position. He had about three blocks, was hitting his mid-range jumper consistently, and was driving to the rim with impunity. He does not initiate the offense, it must be done with the help of a PG. When Felton ignores him, he less productive. If we get good PG play, he responds.
Melo shouldn't have waived off prigs on that last trip
Not a good stretch foe Melo
The Knicks are shooting the ball better
We still need a point guard
