Happy Playoffs!!
Melo has an off night, Tyson doesn't show up and JR can't hit a free throw and losing to the world champs is all on Woodson?
Only Amare returns and Woodson is overwhelmed
Wait until Bargnani comes back just in time for the playoffs
What playoffs?
Some one make sure Miami can't showboat in the final 2 minutes...
I miss Mardy Collins.
Melo just needs a vacation

YUP!!! Cuz it's not about one guy having a hot shooting night or a Center who isn't a scorer anyway. It's about running a high efficiency offense that leads to easy baskets. The simple stuff we see the Heat do with their basic motion and passing ending often in cuts right to the hole, one on one shots for their best players and put backs as we're scrambling defensively is all part of a PLAN. They aren't winging it!!! They do this every night. We don't have anything solid to fall back on. If we did you could easily explain it.
No doubt the heat are well coached. But there is a slight teeny, tiny difference in personnel no?

I think Tyson played well. Melo is more to blame than Tyson or Felton.

We lose one game and we are back to blaming th personnel? I see
Melo looks disinterested. I can understand an off ngiht but on both sides of the court he looks terrible

I stopped watching after the 1st quarter because I seen that we had no chance to win that game. I have a question for you did Woody find other ways to get melo the ball or did we do what we did during the playoffs series against the heat and try to force feed him in the post? I am wondering if Woody has grown as a coach or if he is still making the same mistakes.

Good question
I'm still hoping we still miss the plAyoffs and Denver wins the lottery with our pick. Embarrassing Dolan is more important to be then a 1st rd playoff exit

Who has ever defneded woody? The difference is that we dont excuse the players and put everything on teh coach. Woody has issues thats very clear BUT the players deserve just as much blame

Haha you are joking about Woodson growing as a coach right?

I wouldn't go that far. The match ups forced the knicks in a bad position. Having to help on the Jrs left Shane open. Very bad game handling the ball though. He just looked like he didn't know what to do.
Despite all that though if that offensive foul on Chandler wasn't call I think the game would have been different.
We aren't going to beat the Heat if Super Melo doesn't show up..

maybe disinterested is the wrong word but he does look overmatched tonight whihc is rare to see. yes he still scored 22 but it was a very quiet 22 with bad defense and turnovers
Heat played great D...They didn't let up..
At least Cuse won and the Nets lost
