GAME IN WHICH HE SCORED 44 PTS ! Is he that good or is the defense that bad.
Would he hold on to the ball to long in a knicks uni and not defer to Melo like everybody else ?

hey- they're veterans now - lets sign them instead of some young player getting by on 'potential'

playa2 @ 2/5/2014 8:25 AM
We need someone who can break defenses down off the dribble. No good vet is available on the cheap.

Where you at ENYSPRE

Didn't we have Morris Almond on the summer league roster one year? I was excited too, thought he had a good shot to make the big league team...then we played the games.

I think we need to consider why Jackson is in the D-League. It is basically his height. Almond and Conroy were great talents, but Almond didn't have much upstairs from what I remember.
Anyway, comparison just breeds conflict. Jackson has talent. Like Nate, if he was taller he'd be a lottery pick. The thing is, Jackson has more upstairs. I think the kid is special.

What have we got to lose? Where are we going with Felton? At this point, we better grab the best available talent we can, but I'm not so sure we can even trade a 2nd for this kid.
Also, I don't think Woodson or Dolan want a "distraction", this is Melos team and Dolan is the boss, "that's how things have always been around here..."

CrushAlot @ 2/5/2014 4:10 PM
Knicks need to grab this guy. I think some here are selling the dleague short. The league has grown and is being used more by teams to develop and rehab players. Also, young guys are choosing it as opposed to going to Europe. This kid is often compared to Isiah Thomas. Maybe there is some height discrimintation going on because he seems like he is at least worth being signed. The last kid that lit up the league was picked up by the Lakers and has done very well there. Not sure what the Knicks have to lose by taking a chance on kid that obviously talented.

Honestly have no idea what we're waiting for.

A couple more games like this, only natural for the price to continue to climb -- pretty soon we might be talking a 1st rounder minimum. We're absolute morons if we never looked into trading for this kid. Case closed.

NYKBocker @ 2/5/2014 5:35 PM
Does anybody own his rights?

The Pelicans own his rights but he doesn't have a contract with them. His situation is similar to a guy that was drafted and playing in Europe. I think the Knicks would have to trade a pick to get him or take another player back from them that they don't want to get his rights.
NYKBocker @ 2/5/2014 5:42 PM
He reminds me a little of Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (formerly Chris Jackson).
fitzfarm @ 2/5/2014 6:12 PM
he would start on this knick team... i pry for felton to be traded everyday or retire/give up

did he just do a Karl Malone in traffic at 1.12!?!?!? Sign me up!

I want him. I think he is the real deal. He can light up the Garden

We can probably get him for cash. Oh that's right, we are fiscally responsible now.

RonRon @ 2/5/2014 7:40 PM
I really liked him, I certainly would have acquired him if I had any PULL in Knick's GM and would have NEVER signed Pablo or MWP with the 3M

Would have also signed James Johnson on a 2 year vet min deal

but once again, Woodson doesn't trust young PG's look at our inabilities to defend at PG, while he still doesn't play the BEST defender
Like I have brought up earlier, it doesn't make sense
to finish the FINAL PLAY *ONLY DEFENSE LEFT*

with Udrih on Beal
Felton on whoever,
Pablo on whoever,

Woodson doesn't deserve all the blame of why we suck but he makes the most horrible decisions I have ever seen a coach make and continues to repeat it
But expecting a different result every time, giving the ultimate staredown,

NardDogNation @ 2/5/2014 7:45 PM
He reminds me of TJ Ford
