Knicks · Is Felton the Worst PG in the NBA (bleacher report) (page 1)

" When guarded by Felton, most shooters have enough time to eat a meatball sub before hoisting up an uncontested shot."

Ouch.

Definitely the worst starting PG which is a huge problem itself. I don't know sometimes I feel like he'd be a solid bench guy but most of the team I want him far away from this team.
Sangfroid @ 2/5/2014 2:02 PM
I don't know if he's the worst, but he has certainly regressed.

Jennings is pretty bad

Not worse than Felton though. Not even close.

I've been saying the same for a long time. There is nothing that Felton does well, because even backups have at least one specialty. I actually think that there are several backups that are better than Felton is, so I'm not too sure if he'd even be considered solid off the bench. Right now, I'd take the following ahead of him: Mo Williams (POR), Luke Ridnour (MIL), Patrick Beverly/Jeremy Lin (HOU), Norris Cole (MIA), Grevis Vasquez (TOR), Steve Blake (LAL), Darren Collision (LAC), Reggie Jackson (OKC), Jarrett Jack (CLE), Andre Miller (DEN) and Brian Roberts (NOH).

I don't know, there was an article last year tearing him to shreds. I think he's shooting 37%!

lol
"Has Felton been the worst point guard in the league in 2013-14? That depends...do Chris Smith's two minutes of playing time count?"
franco12 @ 2/5/2014 4:01 PM
he is so bad we'd be better off with an nbdl rookie
franco12 @ 2/5/2014 4:06 PM
and this is why people have a problem with Woodson. Felton is so bad, that Toure' Murry would be no worse and likely better. But Woodson keeps playing Felton.
CrushAlot @ 2/5/2014 4:11 PM
I really like Hahn and Wally but I do think there is a company line that they need to follow. For Hahn to come out and say opposing scouts said that teams go at the Knicks point guards on offense says a lot.

Jennings is at least a decent passer and can get into the paint at will. What is Felton actually good at? I literally can't think of a single thing. He's the reincarnation of Chris Duhon, obesity and all.

Not if Felton eats it first

Reminds me of when Quentin Richardson was a Knick and statistically the worst starting shooting guard in the league. Still didn't get him benched because of his overrated D. I have no faith in Mills doing something about it, something good anyway. Another relic from the Isiah years.

It seems hopeless. It was weird to watch the Bucks game and barely care. That was how it was for the D'Antoni/Walsh and Isiah eras for me. Sad to be back there already.

Wow you actually made me reconsider that fully. Looking at a lot of the backup PGs in the league, it was hard for me to find many I wouldn't take over Felton.

It's sad but too true. The only way we can move him is if it saves a team money e.g. for Jeremy Lin.

SlimChin @ 2/5/2014 11:33 PM
probably not the worst but definitely shouldn't be a starter. apparently he didn't come into shape for training camp so the injuries compounded by an out of shape athlete makes for a bad season. yeah he sucks get rid of his ass. and i hate the way he bitches about every call.
CrushAlot @ 2/5/2014 11:58 PM
In addition to being bad enough that this is even discussed he always does really bad in his personal statement games (Blazers, Rockets/Lin, Bobcats)
