Dream: trade Melo and Chandler and come out of this with 6 new picks (3 1st, 3 2nd round), or at least very good players early in rookie contracts.
Question would be how.... this roster has a shit load of talent

Most of the talent we get are either on losing teams that are looking to sell (MIL, CLE) or winning teams, looking to clear money (HOU, DEN, SAS, GS). With a payroll that is the 3rd highest in the league, this bodes especially well for us. Everything I suggest in this thread is to leverage whatever little value we have left and other teams interest in selling talent, to get some more talent of our own. I start by liquidating Tyson's value and move from there.

I'm right there with you but they say we won't trade Melo. This is the only thing I could think of that would satisfy that declaration and improve the team (I think).
My dream would be LeBron, Melo, wade Paul and Blake Griffin, Duncan and Bosh. With Phil Jackson Coaching. If we are going to dream why not dream big.
My dream.....at the deadline

Exactly!! Those are the kind of players the Knicks settle on because they refuse to develop their own talent on the cheap. Get ready..Melo wants Kevin Love of Minnesota. Get ready to see the worse defensive front court in NBA history. It would be Melo and Amare but they don't start games together. Get ready for another decade+ of wondoeri g why we are only winning 20-30 games even though we are loaded with talent. Marbury, Crawford, curry, Randolph, Lee, Nate, frye, Tim Thomas, mo Taylor, Steve francis
My dream is that Dolan has been removed as the owner

This is a controlled demolition. If the talent-phuck doesn't work, these trades at least creates additional cap space come 2015 (only Mayo and Jack would be under contract; both of which could be readily moved just short of the next deadline or offseason if need-be.).
